“Charming cottage in a great location”
Reviewed 29 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The cottage was thoughtfully decorated and we appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine and sweet treats. It was a great base for visiting the Peaks District and enjoying the town of Bakewell. Parking was a bit tricky and the second bedroom had very little room for our luggage. These small issues were outweighed by the other positives. We had htree generations of family and it worked well for everyone.

“Lovely cottage - great location and comfortable accommodation”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Really enjoyed our stay at Peak Cottage. The cottage is beautiful - clean and cosy, plenty of room and had everything we needed for a week away - including a bottle of wine, scones and a doggy treat on arrival. Thank you! (One tip - do ask Debra for instructions on how to find the cottage, it's very tucked away!)

“Enjoyable holiday”
Reviewed 21 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The cottage is very well situated - only c.10 minute walk to the centre of Bakewell and a short drive to Chatsworth House, which we visited during our stay. The cottage was nicely furnished and contained everything that we required to make our stay enjoyable. My party and I had a wonderful time at Peak Cottage, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our family and friends.

Peak cottage is charming. It has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Bakewell town is a 10 min walk downhill. Surrounded by stunning scenery. Lovely walks to chartwell hse & haddon hall. Would definately recommend the property

“Excellent long weekend”
Reviewed 22 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed here Friday - Monday for my Birthday weekend. Much better value than a hotel, and much more comfortable. The weather was fantastic and we used it as a base for walking, cycling, and visiting Chatsworth House. It is very well kitted out with everything we needed. The pre arrival information was very good - and it was very clean. The owner is friendly and was easy to contact. We'd use the cottage next time we are in the peaks.
