It is compulsory for us to go to Naughty and Nice when we visit Bakewell - my husband is addicted to the Chocolate Euphoria!! Popped in today and I had a jacket potato with cheese and hubby had his chocolate fix! We were not disappointed! We were able to sit out in the courtyard in the sun and enjoy our lunch. Even picked up some chocolate to bring home for our girls!

An oasis of peace, coffee and stunning date and walnut cake. A brilliant space away from the hustle and bustle of the high street.

We visited on a market day in August. The garden looked very inviting but unfortunately there were no tables available so we went upstairs to what was described as "cosy seating". What a mistake! The decor was dismal with dark and chipped paintwork. The menu was sticky. The table was sticky. The condiments and table number holder were dirty. We stayed only because we were running short of time but we had to wait so long both to order and for the food that we thought they must have forgotten we were there. The only other people were a constant stream coming to queue for the only toilet. That having been said the cake was delicious and so were the drinks. Would we go again to the "Bakewell cafe of the year"? Absolutely not!

Visited while in Bakewell today. Sat outside in the courtyard which was very pleasant. Fantastic choice of cakes and snacks available. Worth a visit.

We had lunch here and sat outside. I had a mixed berry milkshake, I was sold by the description of ice cream and fresh fruit making a thick shake. Sadly it was lacking any fruit flavour or thickness was very watery and looked like it had split. Plus being served in an off green glass gave it an odd appearance. I didn't drink it and had water instead. We also had a bacon and brie panini which was nice and a sausage oatcake which was also nice.
The location is lovely, courtyard seating is very pretty and service is fast and friendly.
Everything is nice here but not really anything above average. It is the second time we have been to Bakewell and the second time we have eaten here, it wasn't as good as the first time which was a shame.
