if you like good old-fashioned architecture and graveyards/churches then this is a must visit spot if you are in Bakewell. There's some good views of the town from this vantage point and the church grounds have some intriguing lanes and paths around it. There is a public footpath leading to fields further up the hill. The stone carvings, gargoyles and gravestones are of a good quality and all very photogenic. There are plenty of coffeeshops, tea rooms, cake shops and pubs in short walking distance.

The church is beautiful inside and out, I have no religious leanings but I came here for the great opportunities for photography that the church lends itself so well to. there are great views as the church is high up on the hill and looks over the village.

There are many great architectural features and textures to capture here, a great diversion from the main tourist trail in Bakewell.

You can't miss this place as it sits in a prominent position overlooking the town. Beautiful both inside and out and well worth taking time to look around the various monuments, stone carvings etc.

Saxon carvings in porch, some very old tombs, good Victorian glass and misericords. Well worth visiting for the Manners family memorials.

Take the time to climb the hill and take in this beautiful old church. There's loads to see with information about all the stones and monuments inside, and the churchyard has some really old and interesting headstones in it. I've been a few times now and always manage to spot something new that I previously missed.
