We have been staying at The Pines since it opened to guests in 2008, having stayed at Cheryl and Pat's previous B&B in Rowsley. We love it here - the facilities and location are great and Cheryl's breakfasts are wonderful (homemade bread and preserves, special diets very well catered for). All the rooms are comfortable and a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Cheryl is a great host who is friendly and entertaining as well as being attentive to guests' needs. Well-behaved dogs are also made welcome at The Pines but for those of us who don't have dogs, be reassured: there is no doggy smell or doggy presence to be found in this spotlessly clean house. I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a relaxing break in the Peak District; there are plenty of historical and retail attractions as well as excellent walking to be had in the vicinity, so lots to see and do.
