This has got to be one of the best attraction's to go to for a great family day out.
Once you have paid for your ticket you get old currency (1p--1/2p ) to ride the trams all day long.
Your admission ticket last's for a year making it well worth a few visits a per year.
The grandchildren love this place.

1 Tram is converted to take wheel chairs making it enjoyable for everybody.
A play area for the children also picnic areas.

We visited August 3rd 2014 with our 2 year old & her nana - it was a great day out, she was given a 1/2 penny to use for her tram ride, you exchange this for a ticket which allows you ride the trams up & down all day, they always have at least 3 trams running all the time, the village they have made is very well put together, a pub (serving real beer), fabulous ice cream, nice tea shop, old fashioned sweet shop & an inexpensive souvenir shop. The staff are all volunteers are were so friendly & enthusiastic, the exhibitions were well thought out for all age groups. There is a woodland trail which we ran out of time to do with a tired 2 year old, there was an outdoor play area with picnic tables & also another picnic area next to the bandstand where you could sit & watch the world go by. Loos/baby change were all clean & plentiful - will certainly go back for another visit as the added bonus was our tickets are valid for 12 months

Went here on Wed July 30th, it is a very good day out, we took our Jack Russell and dogs are very welcome, they can go anywhere except the food outlets, although there are places to sit outside. Picnic area and a woodland walk which our dog loved. You can ride on the trams as many times as you want and wandwr round the tram sheds. Our dog had a ride on the trams My brother was a bit disappointed as they did not have a Stockport Tram which we remember riding on when we lived there but overall a good day and not expensive to go in. Tickets last for 12 months so we will be going back again.

Really fun day out, interesting exhibits and unlimited tram rides on site. Staff really enthusiastic and well informed.

Limited food and drink outlets but the cafe on site was nice and had outside seating and a variety of hot and cold food options.
