Writing a review for this special place has been on my list for too long now...Although it's been a while since we visited, we often remember this beautiful place. It's a little gem surrounded by beautiful countryside. Sharons warm welcome and amazing banana cake made our stay very special. We loved it and the little house got everything we needed! Many thanks again!

Absolute peace and tranquility ! Amazing little place with a massive heart. Panoramic view with a chorus of birds for a wake up call. Sharon our host was fantastic and very welcoming. She made us very welcome and gave us lots of homemade baking.
We will definatley re visit this little gem again. Thankyou for your warm welcome x

Beautiful little hide away, with stunning views, 5* home comforts, and 5* hospitality from our hosts, lovely welcome tray with home made cake, warm homemade apple pie we felt totally spoilt, super attention to detail with our names welcoming us on a blackboard on the hay den wall. We stayed for 2 x nights but would not hesitate to stay for longer next time..

Even though the Hay Den is small, it has everything you need. Sharon made us very welcome and the banana cake was delicious!

For long or short stays the hay den is perfect. Sharon goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hay den itself is lovely, great views and has everything you would need for a long or short stay. It is in a lovely area. My only complaint is it's slightly hard to find.

We spent two nights in the Hay Den, and what lovely nights they were.
Sharon was wonderfully welcoming, and the homemade cakes she provided were a very nice (and delicious) touch. The setting is very tranquil, and yet is well placed to explore the local area. There's a great pub (The Barlow Mow) within walking distance which is similarly welcoming and does good food.
Yes, it's small. Yes, brushing your teeth can be an exercise in contortion. Does it matter? Not one bit. It provided us with a cosy place to sleep and have breakfast, and that's all we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we were visiting the area again.

The Hay Den is a charming and cosy studio apartment surrounded by stunning views! Sharon is the perfect host who made us feel very welcome - nothing is too much trouble! The bed was so comfy, I didn't want to get up! We will definitely be back!
