“Good large portions of quality american food.”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Me and my friends enjoy going down to route 38 every now and then for a large breakfast or lunch. The prices are very good and the food is nice. Service is also good. Nice american menu filled with all the regular classics.

“Please avoid!”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

Me and son stuck to the table cloth, had to ask a miserable waitress to wipe the table... Which she done badly, then offered me cloth to wipe it myself. Food served before drinks... Horrible tasteless powdered milkshake. Stodgy dry pancakes and I'd be incredibly hard pushed to find cheaper tasting ingredients used in the fried breakfast. Disgusting no meat content sausages, fatty salty bacon. Boiled beans. Plus overpriced!
This place has great potential, but employing unqualified cooks to Chuck stuff in a frier isn't going to work. Employ someone who has an understanding of food hygiene and has an ability to cook "fresh" food. Whilst visiting the guy on the table was given a muffin which was full of mould. They then realised all the muffins in the display cabinet were covered in mould. It's an embarrassment they call themselves an American diner. Couldn't be further from the true!! Sort it out!! A deep clean is much needed!!

“RUBBISH”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

Family treat, all adults---- great idea to have a taste of an american diner. We booked even tho the reviews were 50/50. I ordered ribeye daughter chicken husband burger with blue cheese soninlaw burger x 2. Ribeye tough reason given for replacement that wouldnt be any different because came from the same cut.(change the so called chef) Burgers (stated at being with tomato) this is the only thing that gave it colour - change the butcher - tasted like cardboard. Chicken recontructed not quite sure from what. Other customers also said whilst waiting to pay that it was rubbish. Tacky pictures, sticky plastic table cloths, flags placed on ceiling under no circumstances can cover the fact of a third class eating establishment. Revert the unit back to what it was.

“Greasy Food”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

We came to get some thing to eat on the way home never been before and will never go back.
The service was terrible the food was really greasy. The cost of the food is a lot for what it is. For 4 of us it was £60. The milkshakes are made of powder not a good old American milkshake at all. And not very clean all the tables needed a good wipe to.
