Description: You only have a few days left to enjoy our teas, coffees and food as we will sadly be closing on 25th September. This is as a result of ill health from a car accident last year. The picture framing and jewellery will continue in another location but the tea room will close. There is a closing down sale on with huge discounts on a large range of goods. More Than Art is a light & airy space consisting of a Tea & Coffee Shop, Art & Crafts Gallery, Picture Framing, Photo Canvas Printing & Artist Materials. The tea & coffee shop serves freshly ground Carraro 1927 Coffee, a large selection of teas including loose leaf. All are served in bone china cups & saucers. Also Carraro Hot Chocolate & soft drinks including freshly blended smoothies. There are also jacket potatoes, soup, 'picnic on a plate', homemade cakes & scones. British designed & made art & crafts - pictures, glass, ceramics, jewellery, wood & cards. Some of the jewellery, cards & candles are made here at More Than Art. Also Di Palomo toiletries - perfume, hand creams, body lotions & home oil fragrance. Testers are available for the 4 fragrances. We also provide a high quality Bespoke Picture Framing service. We are able to frame all types of artwork, memorabilia and needlework using conservation grade materials as appropriate. An express service is available if you wanted a holiday picture framed, subject to availability of stock.

“Slightly different small cafe.”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

Salt ash has a few cafe in shop options, eg this and the Bookshop. This one is a bit simpler and less cramped, and on warmer days you can sit outside. Not a wide selection but friendly enough. No bustle or great character. Off the beaten track up a not very prosperous suburban pedestrian arcade/lane with some office fronts and small businesses. Probably wouldn't rush back but nor would I want to put anyone off dropping in for a quiet relaxing coffee etc.

Reviewed 25 November 2013

Stopped off for a coffee on a cold rainy day, Lovely coffee and friendly staff. They also have a few games to keep little one busy while mum has her coffee.
