I was a guest at a wedding on the 7/9/2013. I cannot believe the reviews i am reading. The wife and I had no problem at all with The Ploughboy. The room was decorated nicely, the food was lovely, and PLENTIFUL the landlord and landlady were very friendly and the staff worked very hard. As guests, we left earlier than we expected to, not because of the landlord, landlady or staff, but because of Andrew. He wanted the landlord to move tables to make room for the dance area, and he wouldn't, rightly so too, because guests were still eating at the time, including us. So Andrew took it upon himself with a couple of other guests to move the said tables, and we were all stood with our food in our hands, so very very rude. My family and I left to go home. Before we left, we witnessed Andrew and his best man and his wife, hurl verbal abuse at the landlord, called him some horrible names, but i must say, he remained very calm and did not retaliate at all. My family and I have been back to The Ploughboy recently and had drinks and a meal, and it was very good. The Carvery is excellent! I dont normally get caught up in things like this, but i am not going to sit back and see horrible reviews being posted that aren't true. All in all, the only rudeness and bad manners i can see, is what is being posted on here, and none of it is coming from The Ploughboy..
