Stayed here for the third time in 6 years and had another lovely time. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pub/restaurant below is very good. There are several other pubs nearby for some variety and a couple of excellent bakeries. The hotel itself is very quiet, despite the activity below or on the street. The only tricky part was the online booking system: for a while it said the hotel was completely booked on our days (this was several months in advance, so maybe the system can't handle it?) but on a whim I tried once again about 2 months before the trip and was allowed to book 2 rooms and I did get a confirmation number. I was nervous that it hadn't gone through and emailed the hotel to check but never did get a response. Everything was fine when we checked in, so it all worked out. Will be back again for sure!
