“Clean, Comfortable and Quiet”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We stayed for two nights bed and breakfast in the house. The owners made us very welcome and we were treated to a tour round their fabulous garden which was full of lovely fresh fruit and vegetables. The lilac room is a spacious room with two easy chairs and a big bed that can be made up as two singles if required. The en suite is big too with a good shower. The window overlooks the garden at the back and the room was very quiet. There are tea bags, coffee and chocolate in the room and free secured wi fi is available with a code to log on.
The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are good quality percale.
The continental style breakfast was very nice with cereal, freshly baked croissants, jam, marmalade, toast, ham or cheese and yoghurt with fresh raspberries from the garden.
All in all a very pleasant experience and we would definitely like to stay here again sometime.

Fantastic little b&b! Stayed in the cabin not rooms in the house which was like a home from home.

The cabin is amazing you have a huge bed which is very comfortable. Comfy seating area with tv. Your own little kitchen with fridge & toaster great little add on. Good bathroom with shower.

The breakfast is lovely and the owners put it in night before so we could enjoy relaxed morning. great selection of cheese, ham & bread. Loads of cereals & yoghurt.

The owners were lovely making sure everything was fine.

A great little place! Definitely recommend!

About 10 mins walk from the town centre. The Cabin, in the long, long rear garden, was roomy and quiet. Big bed and good quality bedlinen. Bright, modern decoration. Sofa & lounge area. Bathroom spotless. Kitchen area with fridge to brew up and prepare a cold meal. Continental breakfast (cereals, bread, butter, preserves, juice, ham, Baby Bel cheese, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits). Warm. Friendly welcome.

Warm, comfortable, private accommodation. Excellent quality continental breakfast supplies, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk. Lovely big comfy bed and left to our own devices once we'd been given keys and information. Sudbury itself a pleasant market town and Long Melford worth a visit too. We had an excellent Chinese takeaway from almost across the road whilst there and had a much needed battery recharge.

We stayed here for two nights as we were here for a Wedding Celebration Weekend.
We had both rooms in the house which were very comfortable - lovely large beds tea and coffee facilities. My daughter and her family stayed in the cabin which was ideal as they have a young son so didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. Judith and Malcolm made us feel very welcome, the breakfasts both mornings were excellent, the home made bread, muffins and preserves delicious! Would stay here again if in the area.

I have stayed here twice now and enjoyed both visits.
Being alone I have not needed the Cabin, instead staying in the main house. The Garden Room is my favourite and offers a great view of the wonderful garden.
Room is en-suite and very comfortable.
Judith & Malcom go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay in their lovely home.
Breakfast is worthy of a special mention, with many organically grown fruits straight from the garden and home baked bread.
Great value too.

A friend and myself were cycling in Suffolk for three days and The Cabin was just a perfect place for us to stay the night...cosy and attractive set in a lovely garden. The breakfast that was left in the fridge was just right...home made bread by Malcolm was delicious. Lovely to have a sofa and television after a day on a bike !
