Charming Place to Stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 2 Oct 2020
The 'Cabin' in the garden is spacious and remarkably warm and comfortable. It is very well appointed with everything we required. We were fortunate to enjoy good weather for our stay and therefore able to take breakfast in the beautiful landscaped garden which was very relaxing. Judith and Malcolm are excellent hosts - there when you need anything but not interfering with your privacy. The property is directly opposite Sudbury's water meadows providing delightful walks for us and our dog. There is, however, easy access to the town just down the road. All in all, a highly recommended place for a quiet peaceful stay.

Malcolm and Judith are fantastic hosts.. everything superb..most comprehensive breakfasts. I adore their 'old school approach' and total thoughness is commendable in this day and age...and what a Garden!! Everything totally impressive...will return (to help Malcolm...in his garden)!

As ever it was nice to be back in Sudbury and my return was made all the nicer by getting back to The Cabin.
A great location, nice space and facilities and wonderful hosts.
I love the space when I am working away.
If the weather is nice (I.e. not end of December) the gardens are great and the Water Meadows are across the road.
Perfect.
Even in the damp bleak mid winter The Cabin is snug and airy.
Thanks again to Judith and Malcolm.

Stayed here in order to go to a local wedding. Excellent value for money. Malcolm and Judith are so friendly and welcoming. I stayed in The Garden Room, which was spacious, interestingly decorated (I loved the cigarette cards) and full of surprises like second hand books. Such a charming B&B with an amazing garden I wish I had had time to explore. My breakfast was amazing and even included home grown tomatoes! Would definitely recommend.
