Stayed three nights which was just right before going to Grand Anse. Stunning position high over the sea and you really are in the middle of the beautiful forest.
Very casual operation. Nice big room. Would like a working safe. Need to eat there really as did not find anywhere to go or wanted to. Good breakfast and home cooked suppers and snacks at lunchtime if required. Joseph and the ladies really looked after us. Lovely small infinity pool. We wandered on a trail above the plantation and walked to Victoria where there is nothing to see or do except a small chocolate factory. Went to Belmont Estate but not worth a visit really as little to do for the drive and cost. In the end it was great just to relax there. Really recommend as two centre location.

Room tip: Room one I think with the best view

Mount Edgecombe is a Fabulous boutique hotel, with amazing views, great food in the heart of the west of the island.
Their nutmeg dressing is to die for.
Looking forward to breakfast.
Will definitely be back when we can and spread the word. Infinity pool is great also.

Grenada isn’t too hot on road signs, so we arrived from the other side of the island somewhat fraught! HoweverJoseph soon put paid to that with a fantastic welcome! Two rum punches within 10 minutes by the pool watching the magnificent sunset, and we felt totally relaxed!
Joseph then asked us what we would like for supper. His beautifully cooked fish and lobster on our first night was a precursor to all our other meals! We put ourselves in his hands for breakfast, and every day we had different fruit to try, and local breakfast specialities that were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, from organising a boat trip for us to nearby deserted Sandy Island (amazing!) to ensuring we had sufficient water when we sat by the pool. The grounds, room, walks and peacocks were beautiful, can’t wait to taste more of Joseph’s fresh coconut cakes again next year when we hope to bring the family!

Room tip: Nutmeg room one has an amazing balcony with sunset views, but all the rooms are good.

My young daughters and I visited this beautiful hotel last month. With a spacious room, two verandas and an incredible view, it’s paradise ! The pools are pristine too, both infinity pools over the tropical forest.. We enjoyed the gardens early morning, spotting all sorts of wildlife including different varieties of hummingbirds. It was such an exotic yet welcoming experience, we can’t rate it highly enough!

I knew Mt. Edgecombe would be a fantastic stay, but it far exceeded expectations. Joseph was incredibly kind and accommodating and took excellent care of us, even waking up very early to prepare breakfast for us as we had to depart early for our covid test appointment and flight home. Upon arrival, there were peacocks perched directly outside our room. The pictures of the property do not do it justice - our room was large and luxurious, with a huge private balcony overlooking the plants, pool and ocean beyond. We took a swim in the incredible infinity pool with amazing views of the sunset to the west as wild parrots flew overhead and Joseph delivered drinks and a fruit plate to us poolside - such an indulgence. Later we enjoyed dinner and dessert, all delicious and prepared to order. We very much appreciated the hospitality of Joseph and his associate (apologies on not remembering her name!). My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here. Hope to be back in the future.
