Grenada isn’t too hot on road signs, so we arrived from the other side of the island somewhat fraught! HoweverJoseph soon put paid to that with a fantastic welcome! Two rum punches within 10 minutes by the pool watching the magnificent sunset, and we felt totally relaxed!
Joseph then asked us what we would like for supper. His beautifully cooked fish and lobster on our first night was a precursor to all our other meals! We put ourselves in his hands for breakfast, and every day we had different fruit to try, and local breakfast specialities that were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, from organising a boat trip for us to nearby deserted Sandy Island (amazing!) to ensuring we had sufficient water when we sat by the pool. The grounds, room, walks and peacocks were beautiful, can’t wait to taste more of Joseph’s fresh coconut cakes again next year when we hope to bring the family!
