Description: Placed on the white powdery sands of L'anse Aux Epines Beach, The Beach Club at the Calabash offers the perfect lunchtime setting. British chef Mark Banthorpe fell in love with the island's flavours, and this love lead him to create an exciting menu focused on Grenada's natural ingredients and spices. Lunch is served between 12 noon - 3pm and "tapas" bites and cocktails available from 10.30am - 6.30pm everyday.

Has to be one of the gourmet wonders of Grenada. Amazing food delivered by a professional but fun team in an awesome location. All of it amazing but the BBQ Pork Ribs on a Sunday a must try..!,

My favourite were the tapas they were absolutely amazing, the sauces Mark added really complemented the food and the BBQ lobster meaty and fresh and tasty.
Mark Is very passionate about his food he likes to share his passion with his customers. I ate lunch there every day and I tried something different. The location is perfect set out on the beach. I highly recommend the bash restaurant. We stayed at the calabash and whole experience was amazing.

Would recommend this strongly. Mark really cares about what he serves up and it shows. Tapas are amazing. Had blackened tuna one day and it was delish! But everything on menu is cooked with care. Service can sometimes be a little slow but it is the carribean!
Great atmosphere too and great live music on sundays.

We spent four days at the Calabash hotel and spa in Grenada but the hidden gem is it's beach side lunch venu called The Bash. It's hosted by Mark B ( a very Bon Aimee Brit) who produces the most delicious lunch menu I have ever tasted.
The food is cooked with verve and care, the venu is on a Caribbean sandy beach (Prickley Bay) the staff are friendly but if you are a new or old face Mark B will be round to chat to you. He is happy to vary the menu to accommodate reasonable requests but quite honestly he does not have to. You have to check it out to appreciate it. Sundays is a BBQ menu with live music. Tapas service is from 11.30am and lunch from midday. To contact The Bash email the hotel - I guess.
I am tight with my money I am told but $30 for barbecued half a lobster tail in a great environment with live ( but not invasive) music is good value by any bodies reckoning.
My top tip for cruise buddies is jump in a cab to the Calabash hotel and spa pre book the on site diving / snorkelling trip and lunch at The Bash and that's the best Grenada can offer in one port stop. It's all on their website. One note of caution it's a beautiful quiet resort with high standards so no coach parties please just the nice guys.
