Description: Placed on the white powdery sands of L'anse Aux Epines Beach, The Beach Club at the Calabash offers the perfect lunchtime setting. British chef Mark Banthorpe fell in love with the island's flavours, and this love lead him to create an exciting menu focused on Grenada's natural ingredients and spices. Lunch is served between 12 noon - 3pm and "tapas" bites and cocktails available from 10.30am - 6.30pm everyday.

Returned home having eaten Mark B out of ribs...they were superb as was the other food we ate there...unfortunately my own ribs no longer show...possibly too many Grenadian Chocolate Pots....now there's a desert to die for.....!

Beverly A,

So glad you enjoyed the food while you were here. The ribs are indeed spectacular, and from what I remember the chocolate pot should be fat free, or at least I wish they were!

Either way, we must allow ourselves these little indulgences once in a while! We hope to see you back again some time soon!

Have just spent 9 nights at the Calabash and Mark's food was amazing. Daily specials were outstanding and everything served with a smile and usually a chat with Mark himself. Fabulous.

This beach restaurant was 5 minutes away from our hotel within the Calabash hotel. We went there a couple of times to make a change from our hotel (Mount Hartman Bay Estate) and the food was good. Service was a bit hit and miss being good one day and not so good another day but will go back on our next trip to Grenada

Linda M,

Thank you for sharing your experiences, and I am pleased that you enjoyed our restaurant. We will be closing for two months while we carry our renovations to the hotel, and in this time we will undertake staff training, so that any inconsistency in service you may have noticed will not be there when you next visit our beautiful island.

we look forward to seeing you again
