This was my 4th stay in the cottage across the road from the B&B - Annette and Pat have always been gracious and helpful in getting us set up in the house which is so comfortable and welcoming. The location is great for day trips around Kerry or just staying close to home and admiring the beach views. Definitely recommend taking advantage of Annette's cooking for breakfast or dinner if you opt for the cottage option.

We booked this the day before by chance as we decided last minute to travel to Dingle. We had a hard time finding accommodations for 3 adults in one room in Dingle so we chose the Shores based upon availabilty. Annette was so hospitable and kind when we arrived around midnight after a difficult drive in the rain. She took her time in greeting and visiting with us and making sure our room was suitable. She offered us beverages which hit the spot. The property is gorgeous. The views are beautiful and the grounds are immaculate and full of colorful foliage. After a good nights rest, we went to have breakfast in the well appointed dining area which was finely decorated with beautiful views of the water and gardens. An unexpected treat! We wished we had booked more time here.

This was by far the best B&B out of the four we stayed in on our trip. Our hosts were exceptional and took great care to make us feel at home. Our family apartment was grand. This place is first class and every thing the owner chose form bedding to the efficiency kitchen is top notch. Her cooking is amazing and you will want to take full advantage of her expertise in the kitchen. Great views, great location to Dingle Peninsula and surrounding drives. Plenty of off-road parking. Easy to find with GPS. Very convenient to Kerry Airport. Owners went above and beyond to make our experience perfect! Thanks guys! We felt like family.

My 2 daughters and I stayed here recently and I must say it is better than any hotel I have ever stayed in. The service was excellent! Annette was so accommodating and friendly! she could not do enough to make it one of the best weekend getaways I have had in a very long time.
The rooms and the entire guesthouse was beautifully furnished with excellent facilities. The breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from ranging from an Irish breakfast to homemade belgian waffles. We also had dinner at the coffee shop run by Annette's daughter Aideen, who was a very friendly and talented young lady. My daughters really enjoyed all the home baking. And last but not least the highlight for me was the location. The guesthouse looks out over Brandon Bay which has some breathtaking views. I must certainly recommend it and I will be returning again very soon.

My husband and I stayed here when were first engaged 18 years ago. We returned this week with our 2 teenage daughters and were not disappointed! Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a gorgeous ocean view from our window! Our hostess, Annette, was as welcoming and wonderful as we remembered!!! The breakfast was absolutely outstanding and the best on our trip in Ireland. You can custom order anything from an Irish breakfast to waffles to eggs to fruit and yogurt. The Shores is in a great location that lets you take the scenic Connor pass through Dingle to Slea Head. We think it is a more beautiful ride than the Ring of Kerry!

I cannot forget to mention the very best part of our stay--AIDEEN'S CUPCAKES!!!! Annette's daughter, Aideen, made the most amazing cupcakes we have ever had!!!! It was a nice bonus on an already fantastic stay! Aideen--you need to sell those cupcakes!!!!! Our only regret was that we did not stay longer.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view room! I think all the views are good, but ask.

The welcome, the attention to detail, and delicious food were second to none, topped off with a glorious sea view. This was a return visit after many years and we were delighted to find "The Shores" as we had remembered it - perfect in every way.

Annette gives her guests an incredible experience at The Shores Bed and Breakfast and you cannot beat this value.. We could not have been happier with our stay. Her accommodations are beautiful and high end furniture fills each room. The views from the rooms are unobstructed and breathtaking. We have a 1 year old daughter and Annette goes out of her way to assist with any needs to make the stay more pleasant. Every day, Annette gave wonderful suggestions for sights to see in the surrounding area. She knows everyone and everything to do in the surrounding area! We will be back to stay for sure!
