Lovely B&B with scenic views. The owner was very friendly and very helpful pointing out the local points of interest. The breakfast was great and lasted us for most of the day. The accommodations were also very clean.

O'Shea's Ceol Na Habhann is the best B&B we stayed in while traveling Ireland. The B&B we stayed in the night before arriving at O'Shea's was a big disappointment so we were a little leary. That went away as soon as we were greeted by Therese and quickly served tea and scones on lovely china. Therese's scones and homemade jams are wonderful. I think we ate a full jar of her blueberry jam it was so good. We had two rooms, one for myself and my husband, and one for our daughter and our close friend. Both rooms were very clean and quite comfortable. We stayed two nights and breakfast was wonderful each morning. The setting was perfect for us, just outside of the town, so it was quiet and peaceful. The drive into town is really short and we had no problem with parking each time we went into the town of Kenmare. O'Shea's is a lovely, comfortable B&B. Therese makes you feel right at home, good conversation, good breakfast, and ohhh! that jam. We would definitely stay with Therese again!

As part of a driving tour of rural Ireland, the Ceol Na Habhann was a grand experience. The freshly baked scones win the "Best of Ireland" award and the welcoming attitude of the hostess was memorable. It's a bit of a walk down the hill to town, but that's a good way to walk off the obligatory Guinness sampling in town. Of the five B&B's we stayed at, this one was the best.

Warm welcome, great location, helpful hostess and delicious breakfast, with pancakes and fresh fruit!
A beautiful and peaceful stay: delicious after you have run the Beara way.

I just love Kenmare and on a recent trip with my fiancé and mother, we decided to make a week end of it and stay over. We booked in with Therese who was warm and welcoming. We stayed in rooms 2 and 3, which were both newly and tastefully refurbished. The rooms were directly across the hallway from each other which was very handy for us. The view from Room 2 to the front was breath taking. they say they call it the "40 shades of green". Rooms were spotless and we were pleasantly surprised to see flat screen tvs In a b&b (even some hotels we stay in font have those!!). The place had all the mod cons, wi fi, tea and coffee facilities, information books etc. We noticed lots of info on the local attractions available too. The breakfast in the morning however was the best bit. It was delicious and there was plenty of variety, not just the traditional fry up. The breakfast table looked so good I had to take some snaps! We will def be back, thanks Therese for everything :-)

I loved Kenmare! Such a beautiful, quaint town. And so colorful! But Mrs O'Shea was so gracious and offered us tea/coffee upon our arrival. I love Irish tea! Breakfast was fantastic! My husband had the full Irish while I had beans on toast and the scones!! My favorite thing : ) It's true it's not a far walk into town but the roads are so narrow...no way would I feel safe walking. I would absolutely rec this B&B!! Thank you so much, Mrs O'Shea!! Andy & Lisa Watson

Room Tip: Bring your own washcloth. Only one of the 4 B&B's had them.

Myself and my husband are return visitors to Kenmare and this wonderful Guest House. Therese is the owner of the home and always welcomes us back with open arms. It was a delight to receive the freshest homemade scones every morning and delicious pancakes to set us on our way for the day. Therese has in depth knowledge of the town of Kenmare and was able to recommend the best places to go, she always makes us feel really welcome. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm. All amenities and utilities provided. The house itself is on beautiful grounds with a country feel whilst being about 10 minute walk to the town. We have recommended Ceol Na Habhann before and would gladly do so again. Looking forward to our next visit......and some more scones!!!
