“Nice atmosphere and great value”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 via mobile

This little bar/restaurant is a wonderful little cosy yet modern place. The food is great value, especially the pizzas and appetisers. Service is always with a smile which is unusual these days funnily enough. In the summer you can also sit out the back, although there are heaters and there is shelter, so it should be possible all year round. In the winter you're greeting by a warm cozy fire. The clientele are a diverse bunch from far and near alike, some who are visiting, some who have always lived here and some who have been infected by the Kenmare bug and visited but never left.

“Our best food in Ireland!”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

We chose this place out of many just by instinct and we struck gold! Amazing atmosphere with great live music, happy people all around us, friendly and welcoming staff and heavenly food. Aromatic soups, best vegetarian pizza ever, and a Beef and Guinness Stew to die for.

Fantastic experience, if only there was a 6 in the rating scale...!

“Outstanding!”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

My husband and I went here or lunch today after driving the Ring of Kerry. We had their Chicken Pie which was the BEST chicken pot pie we have ever had. It was light with a wine wine and green onion base over tender white chicken breasts. There was a flaky puff pastry crust. I asked for the recipe but only got a smile.

“Excellent fish and chips”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

The fish and chips here was excellent. Great central location in Kenmare. Had a diverse menu even though we chose fish and chips.

“Good solid pub”
Reviewed 21 June 2013 via mobile

We came for drinks and appetizers, all was good. My sister was disturbed that they offered bolognaise as an option to put on nachos??? So we steered clear of that and got the onion rings and wings, both good and super hot when they arrived. We missed the live music night, the night before, but we had walked by and it looked lively and fun. The night we went was still crowded, but the staff was quick and attentive. Good pub experience overall. Go here first and then walk up the street for dinner unless you want just pub food.
