“Delicious Fresh Seafood”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Really enjoyed our dinner at Tom Crean Fish and Wine Restaurant. From the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed in a very friendly and hospitable manner and this continued throughout our evening. What a difference this makes. The food was delicious, lovely fresh lobster simply grilled. Very good seafood chowder and a rich and delicious vegetarian pasta dish. The restaurant was very busy which towards the end of the evening made the service a little slow. We asked for our bill and after waiting about 15 minutes we actually went and stood at the door!! However I would rather the service a little slow, than be out having finished our complete meal within the hour!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

“Delicious meal and attentive friendly service”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

We had a delicious dinner in Tom Crean. Food was top quality and tasty, and all beautifully cooked. For example, the red cabbage side in the vegetables was just the right texture- not too crunchy, but not too soft.
I am a coeliac and the waitress really paid attention to detail. Not only was there gluten free bread, but she brought out a separate portion of butter & hummus so it wouldn't be 'contaminated' by crumbs from my husband's bread. She also came back to me after I chose dessert with the delightful news that there was a gluten-free chocolate brownie available!

The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and it was no trouble if you wished to adapt something, like having a different dressing.
Lovely decor and a nice relaxed atmosphere too.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We liked it so much that we came back two nights later. Swift service; the seafood was wonderful. I had local scallops. Excellent!

“Ring of Kerry cycle bonus”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

A chance meeting with a Crean family member during the RoK cycle brought us here - how lucky were we! The freshly-cooked food and attentive service were of the highest order. We hope to cycle and eat here again in 2015.
PS - best of luck with the upcoming family expedition in memory of Tom Crean.
