“Cosy comfortable cottage in perfect location”

My husband and I stayed here for a week over Easter. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to be back soon! Very clean cottage with everything you could need. We loved the personal touches which made it home from home. Very comfortable bed and lovely power shower. Location could not have been more perfect- right in the middle of the lovely town Kenmare, on the Ring of Kerry. The owner, Kathleen could not have been more helpful. A fire was lit for our arrival in the living room and her husband delivered more logs in the week as we so enjoyed lighting it every evening. Although the cottage is in the centre of town, it was quiet and there was always space to park outside. We loved being able to pop out to the bars, cafes and restaurants (there's even a Chinese takeaway a few doors along!) Highly recommend this cottage.

This house was warm and cosy very well equiped. Just of the town so very good for pubs and restaurants there are lovely places to eat just make your choice. We would highly recommend this cottage. The owner Kathleen was very helpful and can help point out places to visit.

“A lovely, cosy cottage.”

We have just spent a week at Kathleen's cottage and were very comfortable. We had hoped to cook for ourselves as a change from eating out whilst b and b 'ing around the rest of the country and weren't disappointed. The kitchen was well equiped with plenty of spare crockery to enable use of the dishwasher. The weather was 'mixed' as always in Ireland and the cottage was always warm and cosy, especially when we lit the open fire in the lounge - lovely!
Kerry was our favourite part of the country and Kenmare the perfect centre.

How are you

I initially tried to rent the above but it was unavailable. However Kathleen -a proper lady in every sense- booked us in to another cottage just up the road on the other side. It was beautiful and an absolute pleasure to use as a base for the week we spent in Kerry. Kerry and Kenmare are spectacular and I would highly recommend a visit. Everything is worth seeing and everywhere is magnificent.
Rock on the Kingdom you're brilliant
Cheers

“Stayed at Betty's Place with My dad.. Perfect!”

The Dressmakers cottage was booked, but Kathleen had Betty's place available., I was a little skeptical at first but was thrilled to find out that Betty's was completely remodeled and extremely comfortable. Perfect for 4 people, stones throw from town. My 73 year old Dad had no problem with the stairs or walking to town. Flor was on hand next door if we needed anything. Secure parking off the street. I would highly recommend either The Dressmakers cottage or Betty's place. Great people to work with. Thank you for arranging our stay and helping to make 5 days in Kenmare a completely worry free trip!

“The perfectly homely little house - we did not want to leave!”

This little townhouse is the most homely and charming holiday rental I have ever experienced. Kathleen, the owner, could not be more obliging but easy going at the same time. She was very generous with her time and had a lovely open fire going on our arrival. The kitchen is this cottage is the best feature, it is decorated in a charming, cottage style manner but with all modern conveniences. The location is perfect, on a quiet little street but just around the corner from everything you could possibly need. Kathleen was very generous in supplying ample toilet tissue, paper napkins, hand soap, washing machine detergent etc. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next year.
