We stayed here for 2 nights, the setting is out of this world and extremely peaceful and tranquil. No traffic noise at all, stunning views. Large car park area. It is a purpose built B & B so all the room are of similar standard. Some with baths & showers, others showers only. The downstairs rooms all have patio doors leading to the garden. Upstairs is more private, with equal views over the river. Hosts were helpful with local knowledge and maps, good breakfast. Added bonus was a small fridge on first floor landing, available for use by guests for their personal drinks and picnic items.

Room Tip: The corner rooms are particularly nice with windows on two sides, but all the rooms have a good view...

Spent our first 2 nights in Ireland at Sea Shore Farm B&B and couldn't have been more pleased with the choice. Great location for exploring the Beara Peninsula, an easy stroll into Kenmare for dining and entertainment. Owen & Patricia were tremendous hosts - friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and sincere. Delicious breakfast overlooking the fields and down to Kenmare River. First rate bed and the best shower we found on our trip to boot. Absolutely no road noise to disturb your rest. Highly recommended.

We spent seven nights at Seashore Farm B and B and recommend it to the highest level. Owen and Trish are warm and caring hosts. They greet you every morning by name and enquire if you slept well. Breakfast is a wonderful selection of juices, fruit, fruit salad all freshly made, yogurt, cheeses, delicious muesli and everything you would want in a cooked breakfast. The coffee is very good and it is all served with a beautiful smile and manner. The room was immaculate. There was a tea, coffee tray. The bathroom was very clean. The views are superb. We had the large room downstairs. Location is very good. It is quiet and yet you are close to the town of Kenmare. There is easily plenty to do in a week and we are glad we stayed this long. Do The Ring of Kerry and beara Ring (recommended by Owen). Both different, both beautiful. Do the walk around the lake and call into Dinis Cottage in The Killarney National Park. Superb. Thanks Owen and Trish for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Large room downstairs with water views but all rooms are good

Owen was the quintessential host. This was my 3rd time to Ireland. I've stayed at dozens of bed & breakfasts, and this is number one, unquestionably. The views are amazing. 10 minute walk to Kenmare, where we had a blast. Tons of live music & entertainment in Kenmare. Stop browsing, book this now. I mean it, put the mouse down & go get your credit card. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: 1st floor, corner room is nice, but the one next to it has a jetted tub.

The O'Sullivans are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome. The French press coffee was delicious (perhaps the best during a 12 day vacation) as was the personally prepared meal. Beautiful view of the bay and enjoyable walk through the back down to the water. It was a pretty walk down a small quiet road to downtown making it easy to explore the town and walk to dinner. Our room was large with lots of space and a comfortable bed. We only stayed one night but easily could have stayed longer.

A friend and I met up for a few days in Cork and decided to travel around. We visited Kenmare in County Cork. It is a cute little town (but aren't they all?) I chose Sea Shore based on price and the reviews. It was squeaky clean. My friend said it was the cleanest place she had stayed while traveling around Europe. And, as other guests have mentioned, the shower is exceptional! Our rate was about €100 per night which is reasonable but maybe a tad to expensive for a BnB which is not super convenient to town. However, Patricia did drive us in to town (for dinner) and we were able to hire a taxi back to the BnB. Owen and Patricia are extremely gracious and YES, I would stay here again.

Delightful! The O'Sullivans were exceptional hosts. Great breakfasts, and French press coffee. View was best in the whole town overlooking the bay. Patrica grew up in this house and eventual converted to a b&b in the 80s. I'm a thrifty person, but this is well worth the price. Very clean. Great antique furniture compliments upgraded appliances and fixtures. Will come back!
