A very well run hotel on the outskirts of Kenmare. Lots to recommend it, large spacious modern bed rooms, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, spoiling under floor heating in the bath rooms. A slight issue with the room being vacuumed…like it wasn’t!...during my stay. Am sure this was an oversight. Good food in the Bar, though strange variation in the portion sizes from one night to the next. One slight criticism here is that the daily specials did not change over a five day period. Not a great issue as Kenmare, less than ten minutes walk away there is a wide choice of very good Restaurants. I just feel that the hotel should have made a tad more of an effort. Good hearty breakfast.
In many ways a great hotel from which to tour the West Coast

We stayed in the Brooklane for 4 nights &fell in love with it. It completely surpassed our expectations. We would be very fussy when it comes to food, we enjoyed our evening meal so much that we dined in the hotel 3 nights. The staff are amazing. When we arrived Una told us to treat the place like home, they were there to look after us, and they certainly did that. Thanks to Esther, Mandy, Pat & Brian for going that extra mile. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

We spent a lovely weekend break at this excellent hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is a particular highlight. We didn't eat there in the evening but now regret not having done so after hearing the glowing reviews of other guests. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

Myself and my wife recently attended a wedding in Kenmare and Bride/ Groom booked us all into the 21 bed Brooklane. What a big surprise to discover top quality Quisine in a very friendly setting/ amazing Breakfasts again to the highest quality.
The bedroom was spacious with one of those beds you hope you will find when you open the bedroom door first time.!
Great service all around and very good value.
This Hotel does very well and deserves to do even better.

We arrived early afternoon to a friendly welcome at reception; lobby is comfortable rather than grand but there’s an attractive open fire and an airy atmosphere. We had a comfortable and very clean room. Good food and service in the restaurant and bar in the evening and at tea-time. Very convenient to the town too (5 mins walk on footpath). We shall certainly be back.

My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and decided on Kenmare for a short break; 3nights B&B - midweek. We stayed in this hotel a few years back and were very impressed. The second time round was even better. The attention to detail is awesome. Our 6ft bed had a mattress topper of duck down. As a raging insomniac, I slept like a baby. We ate on two nights in the hotels Bar/Restaurant, Caseys. The food has 5 star. The decor of the hotel is boutique modern. The weather on our short stay was very wet, but the hotel had a real open fire and was very cosy. The staff are very friendly; Pat, Charlotte, Esther, Siobhain and the owner Una. You felt you were important and nothing was too much trouble. It is a tribute to all that this hotel is the number 1 place to stay in Kenmare. We'll be back. Highly Recommended.
