“Creamy, delicious ice cream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

I first tried Murphy's Ice Cream when my husband and I visited Killarney... I was skeptical about the sea salt flavor but knew it was popular because it was almost gone. I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the subtle and smooth sweet/salty flavor. They give you 2 scoops of different flavors. The sea salt/butterscotch, sea salt/lemon curd combos were my favorites! I loved it so much, I went again at the Dingle location AND the Dublin location. It is the best ice cream I have ever had....even better than Molly Moons of Seattle. Every ingredient is local and fresh and the staff at every location was so friendly :).

“Just as good as an ice cream in Italy”

Absolutely excellent ice cream - lots of wonderful flavours e.g sea salt, and really friendly staff. It's not the cheapest but since when does the best come cheap.

“Excellent ice cream”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

We have seen Clodagh's food trip on our PBS channels and one of the locations she visited was Murphy's ice cream shop. All of the ingredients are produced locally and the ice cream is very good. If you go to Dingle, stop in here for a treat.

“Modern flavors done well”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

Flavors like Oatmeal, local honey... We did not find it expensive for the artisanal quality they were producing. It costs as much or more in New York or Chicago or Rome!
