This place wouldn't win any style awards, but if it's relaxation and comfort you're looking for this is the place. From the hot-tub outdoors with the view of Dingle Bay, to the cosy fires and can't do enough for you staff, this place is a great hotel.

As Ryanair cancelled our flight to Bordeaux we decided to book a few days in Dingle. We were not happy. Dingle has the name of good restaurants & we both like golf & trad music. We booked the hotel not expecting much. It was brilliant. The weather on day 1 wasn't great but their Spa relaxation room came to our rescue. Then the staff could not be more helpful. Booking restaurants etc. golf in Ceann Sibheal was accessible with staff there most helpful to accommodate us with tee times. Their restaurant upstairs is well worth a visit , great chowder & crap claws All at great price.
Will definitely be back xxx

Bus drivers experience . First of all it's the first hotel you see and meet in dingle town . We stayed there 3 days . Meet and greet was quick nice and efficient with friendly receptionist . Dinner was great quick and tasty . The room was good , clean TV , wi-fi needs work that's my only snag . Are you ready for this. breakfast in the morning was great . The views where breathtaking . This hotel has washing machines and a dryer for your own laundry . I stuck my washing in 2e then the dryer 1e which took 1hour so I said I ll pop out and get my crowd who where hill walking , I got delayed rang the hotel explained about my laundry was in the dryer and asked would the nice receptionist to stick it in my room because I didn't want my tiny whites go walkies, she did thank you .
The night porter was sound , such a nice man and funny , I used to enjoy our morning chats .
Richard I think the 11th to the 14th

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the bay . Breathtaking views , walk down by the sea

Stayed here for 2 nights for a recent conference in Dingle. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was basic, with windows facing the rear. We had cows greeting us in the morning, but I quite enjoyed that! Breakfast was reasonable with a good spread and good attentive waiters. The bar was homely, and unlike other reviews, I thought they were prompt with their attention, and I got my snacks and food relatively quickly.
The view from the breakfast room is superb, and incredibly restful. I thoroughly enjoyed coming down for breakfast every morning for the views alone.
The short walk to Dingle town centre was convenient, and location-wise, I wouldn't fault it.
Check-out was seamless. Although it didn't leave a lasting impression on me, the hotel is what it is. Comfortable although basic. I hear it's great for kids, and should I visit again, I would dearly love to bring my children along this time to experience its much vaunted kiddie-friendliness.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Dingle Skellig. We had a great time: the food was excellent but by far the best experience was with the staff. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that our holiday was really enjoyable.
The rooms are getting tired and are in need of updating.

The only good things about this hotel are the location, fantastic views from the restaurant, the very helpful breakfast staff and the breakfast itself. Everything else was very disappointing (we didn't use the Spa so can't comment on that). The room was cramped and decor tired, mould in the bathroom and thick dust (or mould ?) on the bedroom coving. One thing that really annoyed me was the fact that there were no individual toiletries in the bathroom, only very inferior liquid soap and shampoo in cheap dispensers that didn't work. I asked at reception for proper soap etc and it was reluctantly provided. The coffee in the bedroom was awful. The wifi very slow. Overall it felt like a cheap low budget hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. Having said all that, the location is stunning but a good 15 minute walk into town.

Hi Diane P
Thank you for taking the time to post your review of your recent stay. I was delighted to note that you enjoyed our location and views from our Restaurant. We are fortunate to have one of the best locations in the country. Thank you also for your compliments relating to our Breakfast offering and I have passed on your kind compliments regarding our staff directly to them. I was disappointed to read your comments regarding your bedroom. The hotel has gone through a complete refurbishment of the Bar, Restaurant, Lobby and public areas over the last couple of years and a plan regarding the bedrooms is being developed for this coming winter period. In relation to your comments regarding the toiletries provided, they are from Gilchrist and Soames, who are renowned for their quality. I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel on another occasion.
Kind regards
Graham Fitzgerald
