“Great Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

Not only are you in the most beautiful location but the
staff couldn't do enough to make our stay more pleasant.
The menu was great with locally sourced foods.
From Management to the Porter they were all brilliant.
We will definitely be back.

Dingle is a good destination and this hotel is a good place to stay, walking distance from town. Rooms are clean and tidy, the grounds are pretty and well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very generous and is served in a room with great views out over the bay. Liked it....

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the bay...but looking back at the cows is quite peaceful, too

The hotel is described as family friendly,erm....I beg to differ,we have children, from toddler to teenager. There is no out door play area, the children's camp is not what it seems, you have to stay with them for dinner, then take then to camp,my younger 3 children watched a movie, they didn't have anything to drink or eat for 4 hours,it was a very hot evening, and for this pleasure I was charged 6 euros per child, per hour.I thought a least a drink would have been provided.
The room were "shabby" to say the least, the bed linen was thread bare, the walls grubby, the bathrooms not particularly clean,we had to ask 3 times for towels. The swimming pool is cold and the changing rooms dirty,I was not impressed that I had to buy swim hats for 2 euros per person, there is no mention of this at the time of booking.
The food as ok,not really 4 star,as described. It needs a complete overhaul and update. The staff hit and miss, some ok,some no idea on customer service, one even took my breakfast plate away while I was still eating......
All in all,I will not be returning

Room Tip: Don't stay here,go else where.

just back from another lovely (and active) stay in Dingle … Great weather, great hikes and great hotel. Location of the hotel is excellent as you can have easy access to everything and also peace and quiet as you overlook the bay … Only there for a long weekend but got so many hikes, the spa service was well deserved :-)

Location is perfect, sitting close to the harbour and perched on the waterfront providing some lovely views over breakfast. That was the only meal we ate there but it was lovely. I left something behind in the room but the staff found it and sent it on for me without any problem. The doors do slam unfortunately and I would agree that some updating would be useful, but it can't be beaten for location. We had a lovely 3 days in Dingle

Room Tip: Probably best to be furthest from wedding receptions

We just celebrated our dads 89th birthday and we had a fantastic time. Seriously looking out over Dingle Bay having brekkie and in the evening too a fantastic meal awaits you. Our room was spotless also with great views. The food, cleanliness, staff everything was fantastic. Just a short stoll and your in Dingle town for a brouse around the shops all the people are very welcoming. We will like to thank Mr Fitzgerald for his lovely welcome each morning, and thank Murphy he is so cute with that great smile. Also JohnJoe who looked after us at our evening meal he is a gent and extremely efficient at his job. Also thanks to Caren and Geraldine on Reception for such a lovely welcome and for the chats. Great staff overall well done to all we will be back again soon. Debs

Could not fault this place at all. Food is good. Rooms are very clean. It's only a ten minute walk into town. Staff are very friendly and professional. The view from the restaurant was excellent, looking out on the bay. Was also looking for fungi the dolphin.
