“The Best on Dingle”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

You can't do better than Heaton's. These folks have hospitality down to an art form. From booking to arrival, it was easy and smooth. Upon arrival, we were made to feel very welcome and the house itself is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, comfortably appointed with a tea and coffee making tray in each room. The views from the rooms are just stunning and the location is ideal: close enough to walk to shops, restaurants and pubs but removed just enough for quiet enjoyment. The breakfasts are indescribably perfect. Superb menu, fresh ingredients and creatively planned and executed. Everything about our stay at Heaton's was perfect. I won't stay anywhere else in Dingle on future visits and have already recommended Heaton's to several friends and family members.”

We recently spent a weekend in Heaton's and it was most enjoyable. As always the owners are extremely welcoming. The rooms are beautifully presented , can highly recommend room 14. The breakfasts are fantastic and what a selection and the quality of the food is very good. The view from the dining room is beautiful too. One of the very best guest houses we have stayed in and prefer it to the local hotels.

After staying in different places in Dingle, and not being happy - we were delighted to stay here over the St.Patricks weekend. Gorgeous room, King size comfy bed with lovely linens. The room over the main door #6 quite and calm, It was as good if not better than any 4 star hotel I have stayed in. Views amazing. To crown it off the breakfasts were remarkable. Attention to detail, choice, presentation - all outstanding. The staff were very professional and added to the ambiance. This is no ordinary B&B or guest house - its beautiful.... will definitely be back

Room Tip: 5/10 min walk into the town center along the sea on a good footpath. Leave the car at guest house

I recently went to Ireland to Officiate at a Wedding in Carolgaline in Cork. We extended our trip with 2 nights in Killarney,2 nights in Dingle and 2 nights in Doolin. The highlight of the trip was our stay at Heaton's. We had room 8 with a view of Dingle Bay and a balcony. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Our host were warm and friendly and Linda, our breakfast waitress was especially lovely. The breakfast were fantastic. We sampled the pourage with the Drambui and brown sugar. If you go to Dingle I highly recommend Heaton's.

Room Tip: Room 8 has a beautiful view.

We stayed at Heaton's two nights on our Rick Steves tour of Ireland. Our rooms were ready when we arrived. The manager personally escorted everyone to their rooms and explained about breakfast, the free Wi-Fi, and restaurants we might want to try. We had a room on the ground floor. It was very comfortable and well-equipped. The bed was just what we needed after half-a-day on the tour bus. The bath was huge and well appointed with hair dryer and toiletries. After our first night we arrived for breakfast in a sunlit breakfast room. The service was so attentive and personalized. There were several choice for entries and the pastry and cereal station was excellent. The sitting room had a fire going so we enjoyed our after breakfast tea and talked with some other guests who were leaving on a tour. The walk from Heaton's to the main downtown area is a bit long but the days we were in Dingle the weather was perfect. I would not like to walk in a pouring/cold rain. We took the manager's suggestion for dinner and some pub music later that evening and the recommendations were superb. If we planned our own return trip to Ireland Heaton's would be our first choice as headquarters.

Room Tip: Go for a first floor room in the rear.

If you are making a trip to Ireland this is a must stop in one of the most scenic spots in Ireland. Heatons is a top notch B&B with by far the best made to order breakfast you can have. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The Heaton family are just a joy to get to know and they go out of their way to ensure your complete satisfaction. I recommend Heatons to all my friends when they are planning a trip to Ireland.
