“Not a B&B”

This is more of a summer cottage style house. It does not feel like a home, but more like a sort of summer vacation residence. Service is not very varm. Rooms ok, but more functional than charming. Small TV and no cabel. Acceptabel WiFi. Lots of parking. Location perfect.

They promise luxirous location with view and excellent breakfast. In real llife, there is no view and breakfast is quite standard.

Trip advisor pointed myself & my wife to this great find in Dingle. The B&B has to be located in the best spot in Dingle, just seconds from all the best restaurents in town! The next time we come back (and we will) we would like to check out the self catering houses the Capall Dubh have to offer. They looked fabulous. The owners could not have been nicer, and made us very welcome at check in and at breakfast the next morning. Be warned though, make sure to check in in advance. We wanted to start an extra night but the whole B&B was fully booked for that weekend. How is that as a sure sign!.

My wife and I stayed in An Capall Dubh in January 2012 on our honeymoon. Great location and time of year. Fantastic hosts. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant accomodations. Best spot in Dingle...center of town. Walking distance to everything. Pat and Helena also recommended a location rent bicycles. We enjoyed our stay and next time we travel to Ireland, we will return.

After looking at several B&B's in Dingle we came upon this nice little spot. Location is perfect, owners are friendly, great breakfast awaits you. This is by no means luxurious but who hangs out in the room when in Dingle? The bed was nice and comfortable, TV was very limited, water pressure was great and the water was hot. But this lacks a main room to meet other people except in the morning. We needed some wine glasses and were out of luck because no one was around. There is a nice parking lot ( car park) right behind the inn which takes the guess work out of where to leave the car.

Room Tip: We were upstairs , I bet downstairs room would be noisy. The floors are wood.

Stayed here for two nights. The couple who run it are super. Breakfast delicious with soda bread and poached eggs cooked to perfection. Rooms basic but clean. Ours had a lovely skylight. A couple of niggles written i good faith: the front door is left open all day and I guess because of this the dining/lounge area is locked. This is a shame as there is a pretty patio that can be looked onto through sliding glass doors from a comfy sofa - in the locked room. There were no tea or coffe facilities in the rooms and no access to the kitchen to help yourself. The room was also rather chilly - the heating came on only fleetingly. Maybe the cold rainy weather was unanticipated at the time we visited. That said - I would definitely recommend this b+b. Perfect location, very good value. Make sure you visit the gardens behind the church next door which are quite lovely - especially the pretty nuns cemetary which is almost worth becoming a nun for.

Room was spacious (I think most rooms at this B&B are), super clean, simple yet lovely. Tremendously nice owners; friendly, warm and helpful. Great location right in the middle of town, yet the B&B seemed pretty peaceful and quiet because of it's off-street location, next to the main church in town. Location was fun, you're on a cute street of shops but quiet enough that it's a pleasant place to be. Ample off-street parking lot for guests (huge plus), yummy breakfast (great tea and coffee too). Highly recommend for a comfortable, pleasant, enjoyable place to stay. (In my opinion above average in comparison to other equivalents of price range in Dingle.)
