The aquarium is great and enjoyable for children and adults alike. The penguins are a great addition. They have a tank dedicated to finding nemo.

We toured the Aquarium at Dingle Oceanworld during a recent visit from FL. Having visited SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida just two weeks ago,,and several times to the Monterey Seaquarium in California....this little fish bowl pales in comparison. But, my wife and I enjoyed it and came to the conclusion....you can Always criticize. 32 euro is a pittance to what I paid each for 9 to tour those other facilities. This is really all about pleasing kids, not the adults. After reading one reviewers remarks, I would say biPass the Gift Shop until you walk the kids through the fish displays, THEN consider spending money in the Gift Shop. No matter where you're at , California, Florida, or wherever, you have to realize, the Concession Shop is the Meat & Potatoes of any of these venues as people have No Clue what it costs to run such a business. Can you imagine the food bill for one shark??? We own a Car Museum and people would like to have you do it for free, go out of business and then complain because your not there anymore!
My only critique of this place is, I think they need to clean the tanks better. It was actually hard to see some of the displays for the algae. But, whatever.........I'd say -take the kids and don't listen to the yapping fish faces......They'll have a blast.....

Headed to ocean world on a quiet Sunday morning with my 13 year old daughter and my husband. €30 to get in I felt was very steep. We were in and out in a half hour. Staff were really friendly, I felt it was a great little attraction for tourists coming to dingle but way over priced. Plenty of interesting things to see pity about the price.

Went mid week so only €22 for 2A + 1C.
Small but little one loved it. Staff are very friendy and informative which was a huge bonus really took time to tell the kids (and adults) what was going on.
Great that u can come and go all day if you wanted.
Cheaper than the fungi tours and more to see :)
