“Enjoyable visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2013

While on a trip to dingle and with 2 young kids, one a huge lover of penguins, a visit to Dingle Oceanworld was top of the list. We went 1st thing in the morning, it was very quite which suited us as we were able to take our time looking about. The staff were very friendly and allowed us hold a star fish and touch a ray. The highlight has to be the penguins though, my youngest was in awe of them...in fact as your admission ticket allows you return during the day we came back twice to see them. We loved the shark tank too. We had coffee and cake in the onsite cafe while our kids had their faces painted :-) As I said we returned twice that day so all in all found it good value for money.

“Don't wait for rain: see turtles & penguins then sip espresso”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2013

A giant penguin statue greets Oceanworld Aquarium visitors at this fun stop in the town of Dingle across the road from the Dingle Bay marina and a large parking area.

I love aquariums and my husband loves espresso, so this stop was pleasant for us both. The display and touch tanks were fascinating, especially the giant turtles in the shark tank and the live penguins diving, swimming and preening in their own icy exhibit. After touring, we stopped at the gift shop/cafe area and discovered really good espresso to top off the day. The staff were very friendly and approachable, answering our questions with eagerness.

Like many folks, we waited for bad weather to stop here. After a week of sunshine, we visited on our last - also sunny - day in Dingle. So glad we did. It's not just a rainy day adventure. Don't miss it!

“Wet Day In Dingle”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2013

This attraction is a great way to spend a few hours if the weather turns nasty as it dose in the South Of Ireland occasionally. The aquarium contains a large selection of all forms of river and sea life and is well documented. The shark tank and the penguin are is a great attraction for kids and the staff are friendly and well informed. Visitors can touch the skate and see the crabs at close quarter,

“Great rainy day option”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

Great aquarium to take the kids for a fun afternoon.
Nicely done, although rather small.
We were lucky to be just in time for the piranha feeding.
The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions.
The penguin area has a little igloo for kids to play in.
The kids area provided balloons, art craft and colouring included in the entrance fee.
Don't expect to much of the cafe, it offers repacked food only, no sandwiches.
