“A pleasant surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 November 2013

We were just walking the streets of Dingle and happened upon this little gem which served the most delicious food and coffee in a very pleasant garden setting. If you are in the area and are looking for a quiet retreat then don't miss The Wrens Nest.

“A place to relax”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 November 2013

We were there with a group of 9 people in October. So it was not the busiest time of the year. We really loved the peaceful, individual atmosphere and enjoyed talking to the owner. A very interesting man! There are many instruments visitors are allowed use. He even played some music for us. We had a lovely break in this cafe! So we came back the day after. I guess you shouldn't go there when you're in a hurry, but if you want to calm down and want to relax, it's the perfect place to go!

Hi Siegrid, thanks for your review and for your visit (both times)! I can't remember the names of all your friends but please say hello especially to the girl who swims in her pyjamas and the boy who was too shy to play piano! All the best, John.

“Great Music Evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 October 2013

I was lucky enough to notice The Wrens Nest and happened to be in Dingle on the same evening the open mic night was on. I went along and saw some of the best musicians I have ever seen. I also performed with my uilleann pipes. The Wrens Nest was a welcome rest from cycling over the Conor Pass in the rain that day. I will visit again

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2013

The wrens nest is one of my favourite places to have lunch on a sunny day. The garden is beautiful and the brie and walnut sandwich is a must (especially if you dunk it in the carrot and red lentil soup yum!) The brownies are also delicious. I would definitely reccommend it to anyone who just likes to relax and enjoy some good, wholesome food in a quiet setting. :)

Pleasant surroundings, the food was excellent and very fresh, the chives were freshly picked from the garden. The owner was very pleasant.
