“A music shop with personality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 May 2014

The primarily CD shop features a few musical instruments and a collection of musical trivia that will evoke smiles. If you want to attend the €15 concert, buy your ticket in advance, because if there's a tour group in town, they nearly fill the place. The concert is a great way to hear traditional music without pub noise interference. Dara and his dad Michael are engaging host/owners.
We were there for the show, not the food, but the "free" Irish coffee was delicious!

“shopping and concert”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

I popped into this shop while walking around the town. The owners Dara and Michael were very friendly and talked to us about our holidays. We returned later that night for a concert of Irish music they were hosting. We enjoyed Irish coffee, ceoil agus craic.

“A great stop in Dingle”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2013

We arrived here just as they were opening. We were actually there to visit the Dingle Music Shop, but we were impressed with the coffee shop as well. Clean, airy, well-list and comfortable, and lots of great music playing in the background. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the bathroom was very welcome after all the traveling we had done to get there. Definitely stop here if you're in town.

“Irish ift & music shop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2013

3 nights a week they have traveling musicians/Irish dancers come in. Does cost approximately 10 Euros or so, but they do serve FREE Irish coffee (w/Jameson) during the evening. Fun time for all.

“One of favorite haunts in Dingle!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2013

We love this store! The owners are so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly and there is always something interesting happening there: music lessons, impromptu sessions, and lots of unique items for sale, including lots of music! We stop by every day and I usually come home with a dozen CDs. Last year I took a bodhran lesson there! Several years before that, we bought a bodhran to display, hand-painted with our family crest.

Michael, Caitriona, and Dara have introduced us to the best part of Dingle -- the musicians -- and have added immeasurably to the enjoyment we get when we visit.

This year, they've replaced the coffee shop with Dingle Linens where you can get custom made knitwear hand-crafted in Dingle.

It is definitely worth a visit -- they're the heart of Dingle!
