“So Pretty.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2014

We stayed here as part of a two day tour of kerry. We never expected to stay in a real thatch house and so thiswas special. This Lodge is so beautiful from the outside , and inside it is like new. Our room was great , a lovely bed and tidy and clean restroom. The lady from Ireland greeted us and she made us giggle some. Breakfast was cooked with a large offering and it hasthis real homely feel. We loved our stay so much and it was a great part of the tour.

Room Tip: Try to get a room downstairs if we have mobility problemslike my wife Betty.

We were here for the 2nd time and again we had a wonderful time. Nice, clean and confortable rooms and bed. In the morning a delicious breakfast was served. The only negative part about our stay was the pub which belongs to the lodge. We (12 people) had a private hire which we booked a few months ago. By the time we arrived and wanted to go for dinner they were surprised because they didn't expect us...

The lodge itself is clean more like a hospital. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. Noise is a problem as the sound tends to echo. So if you tired getting a peaceful sleep can be a bit of a challenge.

This b and b is excellent in every way, we loved the Kerry region when we visited it so decided to stay here and found Kerry to be very inspirational indeed! This b and b was perfect as we had already visited Dingle, but wanted to stay here as it was quieter. The b and b itself is very attractive, with luxury shouting from the rooftops! Its a clean house, with luxurious white sheets, perfect bathroom and nestled in the earthy Irish landscape. We do wish we could go back to re-visit it. The landlady was super nice and helpful! There is also a traditional pub next door, which is great to sample a pint of Guinness! This house is very relaxing and we felt very well rested after our stay here. Lots of other guests were in the building when we stayed here and we took this as a very good sign! Cannot wait to return!

Room Tip: Get a room to the back and you can get to enjoy the perfect rolling green fields of the area!

My husband and I stayed here and had a wonderful time. This bed and breakfast is new and modern , yet stylish and traditional - all rolled into one.
The house itself is a fine establishment with its yellow exterior and beautiful looking well kept thatched roof. Its a joy to see tradition being kept alive in the beautiful village of Anascaul.
The house inside is ultra modern and stylish , with lots of clean white furniture and stunning art and photos on the walls- reflecting the local environment and countryside.
Our stay here was relaxing, and we felt well rested. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was luxurious with pale beige tiles . The water was always warm and towels were soft and fresh.
Breakfast was hearty and perfect for when you are on your holidays. This wonderful b and b is on our list to for the future and I feel we will return again and again. Bring your car and enjoy Dingle and the surrounding areas, as this b and b is in the perfect sleepy location to relax on your holiday.

After recently discovering the beauty of Kerry and of course Dingle, I came across this wonderful lodge, not too far from where I was visiting. It is in the traditional village of Anascaul. As I writer, I found it very peaceful to rest my head here and to think. I stayed here for a few days and mixed with the locals, ate and drank at the local pubs and of course rested my head on the this b and b's fair pillows.
This is a unique place to stay, with its traditional thatch roof , warming yellow colour and of course its daring red door, ever inviting; this house should be on anyones list for a visit in this area. True to its character its traditional yet completely modern. Decorated with the best of decor, furnitiure and of course art . It mixes the beauty of the scenery and location with its actual interior beauty, so that the guest can feel completely at home , yet well rested enough to feel one is on holiday.
Its a peaceful house, with its own personality, and after spending time there, I found it a very "inspirational lodge". Ideal location, ideal feel and of course- its staff make it the best house there is. I will be back! There is nothing better than waking up , looking out the window at the green fields and feeling like that you truely belong there.

Room Tip: Ask for a room to the back of the house, there you can see the green fields and the sheep!

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay when visiting and exploring Co. Kerry. We got a beautiful double room, the furnishings, sheets and room itself, was stunning . Pretty cool guesthouse which was close to lots of pubs . This guesthouse, I found was very big and very spacious. The breakfast area was light and airy and had lots of nice linens and breakfast bowls. A very inspirational place to stay on a visit in Kerry. The girl in the reception area too was very friendly and kind and showed us to our room. Such a kind polite, hostess!! We would most certainly stay here again when we will hopefully return in the future. Top marks to Inspiration Lodge!!
