During a recent visit to Ireland I was introduced to Harry Clarke for the first time and am so pleased to know of his work. We had already seen examples of his lovely arts and crafts movement work in Dublin, Gorey Church and Cork and our final visit was to Dingle to see yet more fine windows. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Dingle.

Wonderful Art Nouveau-like stained glass--brilliant and varied colors. My photos of these will no doubt end up as Christmas cards. I wish there had been a little more info regarding the artist.

Stained Glass Windows are beautiful and out of the ordinary. The church is on beautiful grounds. Walk around if the weather is nice.

didn't think I'd be as impressed as I was, caretaker took us graciously at half a minute to 5. I'd recommend stopping it to see them. There's only 1 sister of Presentation left.

The whole interior is a spectacular setting for the lovely stained glass. There are other attractions in the chapel that don't get as much mention. The hallways display important religious memorabilia. Frescoes in other rooms detail historical events surrounding Dingle. One wall features a "Last Supper" in which models for the disciples are local people, one of whom we actually tracked down and chatted with. Look at the details in the scene: standing stones, Dingle Bay, Dingle crystal...
