We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. . .the location is excellent, the rooms were lovely and Helen and Brian made us feel like we had known them forever. We arrived around dinner and Helen has menus for all the local restaurants. . .we decided to eat at Heaton's next door - AMAZING FOOD!!! You can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu. My husband had one of the fish dishes and he LOVED IT! The desserts were also delicious.
Our second day there, we drove the Dingle Peninsula and Helen gave us maps and directions - extremely helpful. When we got back into Dingle, we we into town, had lunch, and did some shopping.
Overall, you can't go wrong with Castlewood House. The hotel was great, the rooms were lovely and breakfast was phenomenal (you have to try the bread pudding).More
