This hotel was the nicest, cleanest, hotel we stayed at in all of our travels through Ireland. The location was fantastic too with a nice view. The food served at breakfast was yummy, and high quality. The staff were nice, but kept out of your way. Would definitely stay, if I returned to Dingle.

This is a pristine, special property in an excellent location for those coming to tour the dingle area.

Tastefully decorated with attention to detail in all areas, you will feel pampered and relaxed. That it faces Dingle Bay and is within easy walking distance to the town just adds to it's appeal.

And enjoy breakfasts that are a cut above the uusal fare with gourmet offerings in a lovely, sunny dining room.

Obviously the owners are treating this as a priority in their lives and not just a business. And if you like being pampered and having a friendly helpful staff at your service then this is for you.

This place should not be classed as a B&B, it really is a boutique hotel. It is fantastic value for beautiful accomodation. We were checked in by of the owners and chef. He was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit locally and gave us a map. Our room ws spotless and hotel standard - really comfortable with a view of the bay. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had and we have stayed at alot of 5 star hotels.
I would really recommend this lovely place to stay if you are visiting Dingle.

This home is beautiful and our stay was so comfortable and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the rooms, as well as the entire house is so elegantly decorated. Walking to down town Dingle is very easy to do from this location. Brian and Helen and staff give very helpful advice and will look after reservations and gather information for you. Breakfast is delicious and will be modified to special order for you. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and would return in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: All rooms would be equally excellent.

Well, it felt like coming home again, Brian's welcome was so sincere and he was a great tour guide and recommended wonderful places to eat. Our room was excellent, comfy beds, pretty decor and great bathrooms and most important, it was quiet. Breakfasts are amazing, enough food to fuel a hard day of touring around the peninsula. You must try the bread pudding! Coffee and treats were available in the sitting room for afternoon pick-me-ups and make sure to appreciate the fabulous art work.

Room Tip: Book far ahead to get rooms with a view.

Stayed for one night and it was just perfect, everything in the reviews are true and more. Guests are the most important people to the host and staff, very interested in people and made time to chat. If you get a chance to stay here grab it you won't have any regrets. Well done Castlewood, we will be back.

All the wonderful things you read about this property are true. This was our second visit in less than a year!!! That tells you how super it is. Aim for a room at the front of the house and fall asleep and wake to wonderful views of Dingle Bay. All the bedrooms are decorated in individual styles. We had room 9 and it had a white theme. No Air Con.

The attention to detail is evident all over the house. No one could visit and not be impressed. It's about a 10 minute walk into Dingle from the house and in the town there is no shortage of places to choose from to eat in. It is NOT a cheap town to eat in but the quality is excellent.

Breakfast in the Casltewood is super. A five star hotel would not beat it. Wonderful selection of fruits, bread, juices and even the most wonderful bread and butter pudding. If you do not know what that is just try it when you get to this location. Cooked breakfasts done to order and to the highest standard. Take away coffee and tea is available in the hallway as you depart - reluctantly!!!!!

This is a Guest House but it really is a charming hotel. Book early if you want to visit. Slight disounts in the low season. You will not be disappointed and like us you will look for a reason to return!!!!
