“A Second Home”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

We have just spent another enjoyable stay at Dingle Benners Hotel, with our family.
You are greeted by such friendly staff. Rooms are equipped with excellent towels and bed linen.
Food is of a very good quality - served in Mrs. Benner's Bar and there is an extensive choice of breakfast food. The hot options are cooked to order. We always find Benners to be such a good location in the middle of Dingle with many excursion options around like Fungi, the Dolphin. We even managed a bit of time on the local beach, enjoying the perfect sunshine-( not always available, though!!!!!). Certainly, a hotel to recommend. We will definitely be visiting again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front part of the hotel are more traditional in style but can only be accessed by stair...

This was our fifth stay at this charming hotel and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front in the old original part of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to see they'd been refurbished since our last stay. The beds were new and there were new wardrobes and other furniture too. The only niggle with the new fittings was the kettle - the cord wouldn't stretch to the plug sockets so we had to put it in the opposite corner of the room where it would reach a low plug socket and the new foot bedsteads meant you couldn't see the tv from in bed.
We ate in Mrs Benners bar twice and the food was excellent. Breakfasts are great - a cold buffet and then a choice of courses from a menu cooked to order including a fantastic full Irish breakfast.
All the staff from reception, bar staff and waitress staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lovely reception staff suggested things we could do and booked a boat trip for us. And the new batman was very chatty and helpful.
We will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Choose a room in the old part of the hotel - they are more traditional. Bear in mind though there ar...

Having just cycled 370k in one day we found Benners a Great central location, Cormac and his staff made us extremely comfortable and provided us with a secure location for our bikes & Private secure parking which was essential for us. The rooms were spacious and clean. The Food both at breakfast and dinner was very fulfilling. Thank you for a true Irish welcome. In a word would I stay here again. Yes. Roy Stapleton (Wicklow)

We chose Benners Hotel for its great location right on the Main Street in Dingle. We stayed here for a weekend and had a group of 14 staying we us. We were all given rooms together in the older part of the hotel, there are no lifts available in this section but we were asked at check in if this was ok. The staff were most accommodating, we were given the use of the residents lounge in the evening time for a few hours and the staff were able to arrange drinks for us also.
Breakfast was gorgeous, buffet available and cooked to order hot breakfast.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, it really ensured a great weekend was had.

This property has two wings, one of which is "historic." The rooms in this wing have been refurbished and are stunning with a nod to their Irish heritage. Customer service - which frequently separates the 'good' from the 'sublime' - is outstanding. The general manager of the hotel himself, actually fulfilled an odd request I had ---- ground coffee. Not a cup of coffee, but, ground coffee. I loved everything about this property in the fishing town of Dingle.

Room Tip: The rooms in historic wing do not have elevator status because they ARE in the historic wing. But, i...

Thank you so much for your review. It is a pleasure to read your comments, especially about the original part of the hotel building. This history and heritage of the hotel is so important to us and to our guests.

I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that our whole team helped make your visit to Dingle a memorable one. As for the ground coffee, it was something very small that we could do to help make your stay more pleasant. I was more than happy to help

I stayed in Benners Dingle for the Dingle Film Festival in March and had a wonderful time. Great food, good staff and comfortable rooms. Private parking on site and tours organized of Dingle Bay and beyond.

The perfect place to see Dingle !

Room Tip: Rooms nearer reception are better.
