This hotel is conveniently located on Dingle's main drag and an easy walk to anywhere. There is a really authentic pub off the hotel lobby and they serve good food. There was a library and lots of rooms with comfortable furniture to sit and read and relax. The staff was exceptional in meeting our every need. he rooms were extremely large and comfortable. We had a large bay window that had a sofa and provided excellent light for reading.

If the price were lower, we'd say it was ok. But here's what you get. No guarantee of wifi in the room (they don't tell you that when you call). Those without wifi jam into the common areas, not what we wanted after a full day of touring. It's noisy and our room was on the 1st floor as far from the lobby as you can get. That doesn't help. Doors slamming most of the night 6 to 8 door down. Our bed was HARD. On the plus side, out room was clean. Great Breakfast. Kind staff. Organized and quick. Parking is easy. Again if the price were lower, we'd find the value.

Room Tip: Request rooms with guaranteed wifi. Attempt anything but the 1st floor.

In April(04/28 and 04/29,2014) my friends and I stayed at the Dingle Benners Hotel. Our accommodation had been set up by Exploring Ireland. We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very helpful in finding us a private tour guide for the Dingle Peninsula. This was helpful to us and gave our friend who drove a chance to see the Peninsula. The lounges were comfortable and we had tea, coffee and scones ..as well as a nice drink in the evening. The staff guided us around the city and to local pubs with traditional Irish musicians. The hotel is centrally located and we left the car parked as we visited the town and local areas..

We stayed here about two weeks ago and had one of the most pleasant visits. Benners exudes old style charm and has a classic ambiance to it. Our room was delightful and included a window seat! The room was clean and the décor was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. This included breakfast had enough to meet everyone's needs and tastes. I would easily recommend this hotel to everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Dingle Benners is actually Dingle’s oldest hotel and is over 350 years old, so you could say we have a history of traditional welcome! We really appreciate your recommendation and I will look forward to sharing your comments with our team.

Great Hotel, location, clean, old world charm. Staff very helpful and polite. Rooms a little small, however it didn't matter. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Dingle is a jewel! The staff assisted us with tours and directions! It was a great two nights!

We have just spent another enjoyable stay at Dingle Benners Hotel, with our family.
You are greeted by such friendly staff. Rooms are equipped with excellent towels and bed linen.
Food is of a very good quality - served in Mrs. Benner's Bar and there is an extensive choice of breakfast food. The hot options are cooked to order. We always find Benners to be such a good location in the middle of Dingle with many excursion options around like Fungi, the Dolphin. We even managed a bit of time on the local beach, enjoying the perfect sunshine-( not always available, though!!!!!). Certainly, a hotel to recommend. We will definitely be visiting again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front part of the hotel are more traditional in style but can only be accessed by stair...

This was our fifth stay at this charming hotel and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front in the old original part of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to see they'd been refurbished since our last stay. The beds were new and there were new wardrobes and other furniture too. The only niggle with the new fittings was the kettle - the cord wouldn't stretch to the plug sockets so we had to put it in the opposite corner of the room where it would reach a low plug socket and the new foot bedsteads meant you couldn't see the tv from in bed.
We ate in Mrs Benners bar twice and the food was excellent. Breakfasts are great - a cold buffet and then a choice of courses from a menu cooked to order including a fantastic full Irish breakfast.
All the staff from reception, bar staff and waitress staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lovely reception staff suggested things we could do and booked a boat trip for us. And the new batman was very chatty and helpful.
We will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Choose a room in the old part of the hotel - they are more traditional. Bear in mind though there ar...
