My Driftwood tour took us to Sean's workshop to see him cut crystal. He used to work for Waterford Crystal. He handcuts the crystal. We then went to his shop. The prices are high which you would expect for handcut pieces. His wife LIz helped us understand the different patterns and helped us decide which pieces would work the best for us. After seeing how the airport dealt with baggage we opted to pay 20 euros to have them ship to our house. You need plenty of time to shop and decide because if you are paying 200 euros more or less you want to make sure you love the piece you are buying. Anything you buy is something that you will pass down through your family as a memory of Ireland.
