Terrific home. Dierdre and her mother were very warm and welcoming. The food was great.
Only thing I would like to see is a small bar - would have been nice to have a quiet nightcap in the public area before retiring.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review for Milltown House and our excellent team.
Delighted to hear you loved your stay.
You should've asked us when you were here about the bar, as we are delighted to say work has been underway for the last month on our Library-Bar, which is being hand-carved on the Dingle peninsula by master wood-worker Caroline O'Connor!
It will be ready and installed by mid-July, so only a few weeks to go. Sorry it wasnt in place for your stay but we only purchased Milltown House within the last 6 months and getting the bedrooms up to a luxurious standard was our top priority. Im sure you understand...
Delighted to see you have booked again for late summer, so next time you are here you and your travelling partners will be able to enjoy a drink in our bar, with our compliments!

The B&B is in a lovely location overlooking the Bay. Great scenic walk into town. Positives: Room was quiet, no tv or phone, but has wifi. Breakfast was good. Cons: Our room smelled musty and we had to open the windows to air it out. The carpet appeared to be at least 30 years old.

Thank you for your kind words and positive review. The location of Milltown House is indeed "lovely", we are very lucky.

The good news is that TV is being installed in all the rooms this week
We are contemplating a new carpet to be handmade in Ireland. However, the Brennan Brothers from 'At Your Service' on RTE (Irelands national TV channel), who are Irelands top Hotel gurus, and are presently filming with us for their 2015 series; have advised us NOT to replace the present carpet, they think it is of such a high quality that it should be the last thing we replace... food for thought.

Do remember, we only purchased and re-opened Milltown House in the spring of 2014, this is only early summer, so fully re-decorating this character-filled old beauty is a project we think will take another 6 months to be fully completed. That being said, our staff keep our property spotlessly clean. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future, youll be very welcome.

Everything you look for while traveling. Our room was large, the bed comfortable, wonderful hot showers and private outdoor space. The location was perfect. Close enough for easy walking acess to everything you could want to do in Dingle with a beautiful view of Dingle Bay plus a noise free environment. As you partake of the best breakfast in Ireland while enjoying the splendid views from the garden room Dierdre, our hostess, takes care of your every need and answers all questions. Milltown House is the only place you should stay if you come to Dingle.

Room Tip: We loved our room on the ground floor because of the outdoor space.

Milltown is located in a small town on the Dingle Peninsula. The location was perfect allowing access to walking small neighborhoods or moving into the local town with a very helpful visitor center. The inlet is beautiful and a helpful guide will get you out on the water and out to sea if you so desire, There is a lovely walk to the lighthouse for some solitude and a gaze on the local animals. Milltown is a lovely respite and it very accommodating to visitors needs. Fabulous breakfasts prepared by the lovely Deirdrie. Several of us suggested to craft a cookbook, which would make a lovely memory of the stay. My only suggestion is that our room had a patio, but not furniture. Perhaps it comes out closer to summer , but that would enhance relaxing over a book, the sky and the daily newspaper. Steven was terrific.as a guide was terrific. Witty, knowledgeable (College History major) that enhanced the experience. No phone, No TV...

Room Tip: The room facing the golf course was surprisingly quiet, they just need to install patio furniture, b...

Myself & my partner stayed at Milltown House last weekend and we truly had a wonderful time. Rooms are so spacious, comfortable and ours had a sea view. Deirdre & Stephen could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast filled you up for the entire day with endless choices. The views are stunning and Dingle is now my favourite place in Kerry.
We couldnt have been happier with our stay and we absolutely would recommend and return again. Tell Seamus(the wolfhound) we said hello!

We spent 3 nights at Milltown House on our Amazing 14 day Rick Steve's tour of Ireland... Dierdre is the star and treasure of the B&B. Her homemade breads, scones, desserts, and breakfasts were simply extraordinary! The location, charm, accommodations were PERFECT! And, Dingle was our favorite spot on the entire trip! This is definitely a MUST STOP OVER place!

Room Tip: Our room did not look out over the bay. I think that asking for a bay view would be the thing to d...

My father and I traveled through Ireland this past May and we loved staying at the Milltown House the best. It was so beautiful and had the most amazing view of Dingle. We decided to walk into down each day and it was a very doable walk! Dingle is an amazing city to visit also. We loved our stay and recommend every one coming to stay here! Oh, and the 8 month old Irish Wolf Hound they have is amazing!!
