We stayed 3 nights in the Western Strands in a double room, there was lots of room for us 2 and our luggages, impressed by bathroom suite (gleaming) and nice and light with big bathroom mirror, also more fluffy white towels we had time to use all of! As we had travelled overnite and part of day this was very welcome, as was checking in and confirming the reservation that we had made on the phone just the day before.
The inclusive breakfast was flexible for each of our preferences and we liked the blazing fire on a plasma screen on the wall of the restaurant– nice touch!
Hotel staff were friendly and professional – no probs about extending our stay by an extra day when we changed plans.
Liked the location – between town square at one end of street with minimarkets, cafes , ATM, Bord Failte etc in one direction , and the sea at the other ends .
Will definitely prefer this hotel when there is next an opportunity to visit Belmullet.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were spotless and the food was outstanding. The staff could not do enough for us. When I visit Belmullet again this will be our Hotel of choice.

Met up with friends for a night out, booked a single room for €39 B&B, small spotless room, so warm that I had to ask for heat to be turned down.
The food and entertainment was outstanding, the staff couldn't do enough for us

Stayed here for one night which was a Thursday night. We needed a place to stay at short notice. We contacted the Broadhaven Bay Hotel and they quoted us €110 and would not budge under €100. We contacted Western Strands and they quoted us €59 bed and breakfast. We stayed in room 10 which was spacious and clean. Bathroom had a bath and a shower. Breakfast was a full irish which to be honest was the best fry up I ever got in a hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here if I was in the area again.
