“Lovely easy walk with sheep for company”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2012

What's not to like, this is a bog walk where you stay dry along a path, get tons of fresh sea air and get to see great seaviews of Erris head and listen to the sound of the sea, just what the doctor ordered

“Nice walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2012

This is a very pleasant short walk around the north wast of the Belmullet Peninsula. Climb is not at all difficult. Great views out to the small islands off the and up to Rossan Point in Donegal.
Bring a pair of walking shoes.

“Spectacular short(ish) walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2012

At just over three miles this is one of the most spectacular walks we've done. It is well way-marked, impossible to get lost. The views are wonderful in all directions - especially looking back to Carrowteige and the Stags of Broadhaven.

Try it - you won't be disappointed.

“Fabulous Erris Head Walk with stunning views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2012

We ventured out on a windy March day with our 3 kids aged 8-4, you park overlooking the shore and the first section is uphill, but it soon levels out across a boggy(in winter) track thankfully the wet patches have small metal plating bridges to ensure you stay dry, it is well planned out and easy to follow.
It is lovely to see the farmers allowing free access across their land and we encountered many sheep and lambs which the kids loved. The walk is 5Km to do the loop but on the day with the kids we went as far as the headland had a break and returned about 1Hr. All the family loved it and we look forward to return with a picnic on another day. The views are spectacular from Erris Head ...
