“Was ok!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

A nice and friendly hotel. Bedroom was very nice and comfortable. The leisure complex was first class. Food I thought was good although people were waiting sometime for their food, with one couple leaving just before their food came!
I'm fond of a French Coffee now and again and was looking forward to it, but I'm sorry.... Just not nearly good enough!! It's these little things that make the difference when giving feedback.
And of course there was the wi fi. Sorry but speed matters, especially when I'm doing a it of work.
I hope this helps.
I will stay here again though.

Overnighted here on trip to see the Belmullet Peninsula and was most impressed with the quality of service which is best I have ever experienced. Every staff member with whom we interacted went over and above the call of duty to assist.

Food in restaurant was better than expected and quantities very generous although I appreciate this may not suit a lot of folk but you can get around by passing on the starter or dessert !!

Room quality good even if décor slightly jaded.

This hotel is a classic example of what is wrong with hotel keeping in many mid range hotels in Ireland. Front of house staff are disinterested and bordering on being rude. The receptionist conducted a telephone call of at least 6 minutes duration while waited to be checked in. The food and beverage is pretty good and the service staff are pleasant. The hotel is in a poor state of repair and the housekeeping is of a very poor standard. The hotel decor is dated with lots of kitch touches.

Tried to book a room here for one night aa part of a business trip, I e mailed the hotel and recieved a quick reply stating b&b would be €80 for a double. Then a second e mail 10 mins later saying they could do it at €65. When i rang to check a room was still available later that day, i was told the price was €90! During the conversation the staff member then said they would do it for €85 but didnt know why i had been quoted the €65 rate.
Was very dissapointing and resulted in us staying elsewhere. I have lost confidence in the hotel and wouldnt bother trying to book again. Doesnt make sense to have so many different rate - almost sounds like they pick and choose the rate as they feel like it!

This is a clean modern hotel. The staff were very friendly. The room was a good size and spotless. A delicious breakfast served by smiling staff.
The center of Belmullet was a short 15 minute stroll away, there was shuttle if desired.

We stayed here for a family wedding which was amazing. So many guests and still everything was perfect. We have a young family and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The breakfasts were spot on and the children had fresh made pancakes made to order. The pool is amazing and free to guests. I would highly recommend this super reasonably priced family hotel.
