Beautiful factory store with a wide variety of clothing and home products by both Foxford and other producers. There is a seconds area with substantial discounts on items. The tour, while informative about the history of the area and the part the mill played, is a little long in the tooth and does not directly show any manufacturing of product.

Had to visit Foxford mills famous for its blankets and everybodys granny had one. The shop is lovely and the restaurant staff are very attentive and welcoming however we would have preferred if there was more memorabilia in the mill and more photos/momentos of time gone by.

A bit disappointing. expected a bit more from the literature I looked at. Place looked like it needed a revamp. Adjoining woolen mill shop ok, and restaurant a bit expensive.

I love Foxford Mill and shop and always bring visitors here when visiting Mayo. And I must have sent a dozen beautiful Foxford rugs overseas as wedding presents! It is great to find such a thriving business that has lasted through the years. If you don't know the history, please visit the interpretive centre onsite and let the resourceful Mother Agnes Murrough Bernard tell you herself :) and then go and have a coffee and a delicious snack upstairs. Finally, for the foodies, I bought all of my friends small hampers from the Foxford food range (jams, chutneys, oils) last Christmas and they made very attractive (and delicious) gifts!
