We visited the Victorian wall garden , which has been restored , the organic garden and the Museum and thoroughly enjoyed them all .
The organic garden is especially interesting with lots to see and learn .
The Museum is small but has some objects well worth seeing .

A group of ladies from Headford Women's .Group visited Enniscoe as part of a day trip. We visited on a Tuesday, when the Café isn't normally open but they opened especially for us and on our arrival we were met by Hugh and directed to the lovely ladies who had prepared delicious scones and coffee for us We then had a tour of the downstairs of the house ( it is also a hotel so we couldn't see the bedrooms as there were guests staying ) followed by a tour of the organic and ornamental gardens,. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours in the company of Hugh and the other staff.

Georgian house of medium size set against the spectacular backdrop of Nephin Mountain. The gardens are pleasant but not outstanding. The walk to the lake's edge is worth the effort for the view of the mountain. The home-made bakes in the café are delicious. The personnel are friendly and helpful.

We had a huge room facing the lake. Great views and very quiet. The house is filled with family heirlooms from way back in history. If you love history you will love this place. Don't look for modern amenities. The food is quite good. Service levels are high. Susan, the owner, took time each evening to chat with us. It was fascinating learning about the history and about the estate.

Lovely, comfortable house set in parkland and surrounded by beautiful countryside. You feel like you are stepping back in time, leaving electronic devices behind and having time to enjoy the peace and quiet. Food is locally sourced and delicious, and the hosts, Susan and DJ are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
