“Cosy authentic cottage”
Reviewed 28 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We had such a lovely stay here, two traditional turf fires which Thomas our super friendly host kept well stocked through the week. The cottage is situated just up the road from beleek and only a five minute drive from ballyshannon (great pubs/traditional music) and rossnowlagh which is a brilliant surf spot. Great space outside for bbq's and house has everything you'd need for a quite break away from it all. Will definitely be back! Cheers Thomas and Sadie

“Belleek cottage with charm”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed for the long Easter weekend in cookies cottage with our dog Alfie. The cottage is well equipped and Thomas and Sadie were more than helpful. Thomas even arranged for a tv engineer to come out and fix the satellite tv that had gone off. Nice enclosed back garden. Minutes from belleek town and very close by car to the local beaches and tourist attractions. The only negative is that the cottage is set directly on a very busy main road which makes walking into town rather dangerous. All in all a great wee place and very well equipped. Keep up the good work Thomas and Sadie

My Family have just come back from a week at this holliday home, the house was very clean. We were let in by sady. who was very helpful telling us about local thing the see and do. We were at Rosnowlagh beach most days because the family love to body board. Bleek Potery is just 5 min drive, so we spent a lovely couple of hours there. Donegal Town and Bundoran are also close by. Later in the week there was a porblem with one of the toilets, it was fixed the same day. Our two dogs loved the large back garden which is fenced and secure with gates and we also could park the car there too.
as i am a weelchair user the house was a little small but it was accessable with help.

“Wonderful Cottage with Top class Irish Hospitality. ”

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful cottage, great location to Surrounding areas such as Donegal, Enniskillen, Bundoran and being near the border is great for seeing the contrast of towns. The cottage oozes old class charm with all the modern convieniences. This building has been modernised to a high standard. Being new to the holiday market, i think it is a gem of a place to stay. The Owners Thomas and Sadie are two of the nicest people you are likely to meet. Welcoming, informative and really make you feel so at home and at ease. Some of the best hosts ive had the pleasure to meet. Always just a phone call away had we needed anything. This place is perfect for an intimate getaway or a small group excursion. Thomas welcomed us with two roaring fires, both stove and open fire, perfect for what was a typical Wet Irish day. The rooms are a good size and a good outdoor patio area for BBQs and fun.
I will most definately will come back to this place and look forward to seeing Thomas and Sadie again.

PS.Thomas, Keep up the great work folks. Your doing great!

“Cosy and welcoming, great location”
Reviewed 16 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The owners of this traditional cottage could not have been more helpful, as well as telling us about it's history and the local area. The cottage is new on the rental market, Thomas was keen to listen to our feedback, this property can only get better. The cottage has been modernised but retains many quirky and interesting features. The open fire in the living room was a novelty, we loved it. The huge enclosed rear grassed area, patio with seating and bbq was a pleasant surprise. The cottage is so well located to explore Donegal and Fermanagh, two contrasting regions. The Wild Atlantic coastline is beautiful, especially St John's Point, whilst over the border the countryside is green and gentle, a trip on Lough Erne was so relaxing. We were sad to leave such a relaxing spot.
