Having recently stayed at this hotel I was very disappointed with the whole experience.
When we arrived at the hotel,no receptionist at the desk ,had to ring a call bell and wait for a little old lady who asked us what we wanted.
Then an older man arrived and showed us to our room,
on the way he showed us the tea&coffe vending machine.
The fire exits in my opion would have been more important,
When we got to our room on the first floor,we were asked if we wanted more pillows.
I said no we were fine with one each.
Getting the door open with the card we were provided with was an experience in itself
The bed was rock hard.
Room smelly and décor must be 30 years old,carpet smelly fusty
We put on the Tv to watch the news while we were getting ready to go out.
No RTE in 2013 on the Tv,we mentioned at check out and the lady told us it was because the location was near NI
what a joke.
we are just back from Marbella and could get all the irish channelsin the apartment we stayed.
View from the room wasn't sea view but a view of the back yard&carpark
No safe in the room
This is not a hotel
Its a guest house with a bar
It is over priced at 90 euro for a Saturday night.

We were not surprised to receive a review from this guest. At checkout, guest, while mentioning the TV as her only complaint, had alerted the Receptionist, in an exceptionally detailed and opinionated manner. to the unrestricted facility provided on Trip Advisor to make comments later.
Notwithstanding that she had voiced only a minor complaint in respect of her brief stay her attitude alarmed the Receptionist and, as it turned out, with good reason. We do not understand her motivation other than it may have been an ego trip exercise of power or, perhaps, that she had hoped to be offered an incentive not to review. In the event her review has turned out to be dismissive, inaccurate and so mean spirited as to border on being malicious. In response, the following matters deserve mention:
-a bell at reception is a common feature in many small hotels;
-senior staff members disliked the ageist and offensive comments made against the checkin personnel; insulting remarks have no place in any review and we are surprised that Trip Advisor has allowed these to stand;
-teas and coffees are free on a self-service basis; these are not dispensed via a vending machine;
-we do not recognise the room condition as described in such scornful and untruthful detail by guest;
-all Fire exits are clearly marked in rooms, on the corridors and on the stairwell; instructions, in three languages, are displayed in the rooms and on the Hotel lift;
-if the TV problem had been mentioned prior to checkout it would have been rectified within minutes;
-guest had the option to book a seaview room and did not do so;
-room safes are not a requirement at our Hotel grade;
-our breakfast selection compares favourably with other Hotels of our grade and is freshly cooked to order;
-our Hotel prices are competitive;
-we make every effort to deal promptly with guests' concerns once we are notified;
obviously, this is not usually possible at or post checkout.

Had dinner in this resturant on Saturday night omg . It was recommended by friends of ours and boy was it good . On entering the hotel it was so cosy . The bar area had a wonderful atmosphere about it and there was a great buzz about the place . Out meal was just the last word . I have eaten in alot of resturants and bundoran was always a place I bypassed but not anymore . Bistro where have you been . The duck starter was beautiful but leave it to my mains of lamb shank the most succulent piece of meat I ever did taste . My husband had the mushrooms which he enjoyed alot as did he his mains of medium to well done steak with all the trimming's . We did have a look at the dessert menu but there just wasnt any room left . Well done to the staff and management . We will be definitely recommending this fine resturant and we look forward to dining with you again in october .

Going here for 20yrs on and off. Never lets us down. Food fab, service fab and hotel fab. Always helpful for anything you require. The bar is always welcoming and cosy. Highly recommend this hotel. Great views and walking distance to all amenities.

Room Tip: Choose room overoooking the ocean. Great views

This is a really nice property kept in immaculate condition. Rooms comfortable. Breakfast served at table and one of the best I have had. Dinner good but spoiled by hour long delay at table before starters were served. Atmosphere a bit stiff, notices are harsh, while service is efficient it is not so warm.

Room Tip: Sea view is nice.
