“Unbelievable!!”
Reviewed 3 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

If you ever plan to come to Bundoran this is where you should stay. We arrived to the cleanest house you could imagine. (I wish I had her cleaner). Alex, the owner, greeted us warmly with all of the essentials that we would need and more. The location of the house was just perfect. 5 minutes to the beach but not stuck in the noisy town. It's in a quiet estate on the edge of the town which meant that we got a great sleep every night. The stove was an excellent extra for the evening time as we relaxed in front of the television. We have two dogs and they loved it. There is a closed off area in the back so they used to stay out there when they wanted to get out, but we had peace of mind that they were safe and wouldn't go wandering. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I'm recommending it to all of my family and friends and we will definitely be back soon.

“Lovely accommodation, shame about the weather.”

Bundoran Cottage is a beautiful modern home, spacious and easy to manage with a very well equipped kitchen , lovely decor. Alex, the owner was not available when we arrived and we didn't get the full information pack so didn't manage to get the heat on or use the lovely wood-burner until I contacted Alex on the Monday when she was very helpful. We couldn't use the two showers simultaneously, a bit of a negative with four adults and two teenage children. I enquired about the " bicycles available" on arrival but heard nothing, though the weather was prohibitive so we didn't ask again. With the rain the lovely tiled floors could become very slippery and dangerous ; a few anti-slip mats near the doors would have helped. Alex was lovely at the sign-off.

“Exceptional from cleanliness to comfort and value.”

A family consisting of three generations, we booked Bundoran Cottage based on previous Trip Advisor reviews and we were not to be disappointed. On arrival, our host Alex, greeted us warmly showed us around the property and left a comprehensive tourist pack full of local information.
Every room was spotlessly clean, the decor was simply but very tasteful and most importantly very comfortable. One evening we had a bbq, the picnic table sits on the decking providing a sun trap that is private and very well sheltered. The kids played happily in the garden while we enjoyed a glass of wine- very relaxing. On another evening we walked into the town and enjoyed the delights of a local pub(Maddens Bridge Bar).
We would thoroughly recommend this property to other families.

Stayed at the cottage with my mum, daughter and Uncle for a 5 day break. Alex the owner made it very easy to book the trip and then provided great customer service in the lead up to and during the wee break. The cottage itself is very modern with everything that you would need. Its in a great location and very centrally located to access Donegal town and other areas of interest. Perfect base for family holiday in seaside town. Thanks to Alex for great customer care.

“Lovely holiday house - clean, well equipped and good location”

This is a beautiful house refurbed to an excellent standard. It was pristine on arrival and was actually very easy to keep clean and tidy despite numerous beach trips with children! Large kitchen / diner leading on to enclosed patio area was a great size and layout and even worked for bbq-ing in the not-so-perfect Donegal summer weather!
The three bedrooms were a perfect size, and really useful having three single beds as opposed to the usual twin room.
Log burner was the icing on the cake, perfect for cosy and relaxing evenings.
Location was great - walking distance to pretty much everything, but also very quiet.
Alex was the perfect host - helpful and thoughtful, right down to the fresh flowers and welcome gifts! Will definitely stay again next time we're in Bundoran.
