We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Top class in every way. Would put blinds on window hard to sleep in the morn that's all I could mention. Food excellent and staff really friendly.

arrived on saturday for 2 night stay hoping for a nice relaxing weekend, not what we got.
wedding on in function room, band played until 3am keeping us awake as the music could be heard clearly in the bedrooms. breakfast basic, no green tea available. booked table for dinner in restaurant that evening only to discover that restaurant was closed and dinner was being served in bar where there was first holy communion parties on.
children running around until 9pm. It was the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in and if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing break this is not the place to go

Amazing view of beach from the self catering apartments of this hotel but too many stag nights and joy riders in the car park for a visit with young children. Apartments are spacious and well equipped but we were covered in bites during our stay so can only presume it was bed bugs. The hotel staff didn't seem to be interested. I would never stay there again.

Great location in centre of village. Beach out the back of hotel which is really fabulous. Playground for children looked really good & diverse & was meant to be opened from May but it wasn't open. There was a play room in basement of hotel which has a slide & climbing frames & area for toddlers with lego & dora doll etc so that was a great back up when weather wasn't good. Bedroom & bathroom was fine. Decor was nice throughout hotel & quite modern with good views. The breakfast was disappointing, the rashers & sausages didnt taste good quality & coffee tasted as if it had been brewed too often. Cereals & juices were as normal & fruit was very limited. Dont know if there was omlette, pancake or any other option - didnt see or offered a menu. Food at evening/night time was standard, not too good nor bad. Unfortunately didn't see huge alternative in village. The staff in hotel were pleasant & helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for sea views if possible.

We were an extended family ranging from toddlers to eighty year olds.
Not pretentious and may not be the trendiest place on earth but really good old fashioned holiday feel
lots to do for all ages near by - good beach for toddlers and kids, good surfing at easky nearby for young adults, good resturants in town - traditional music etc .

We stayed in the Ocean Sands hotel for a friends wedding and have to say we were very happy with everything. At the wedding itself, the food was excellent and service fast and friendly.
The views of the beach from the main bar and outside the main function room is gorgeous, lovely to look out on while you enjoy your meal. It's the only hotel in Enniscrone which such a sea view!!
Our room was spacious, bed was comfy and it had a great shower to wake you up in the morning, it also overlooked the sea.
Breakfast was at a smaller buffet than some hotels which was very well managed and there was always loads of food just arriving. which meant there was not bacon left there for hours on end. A good thing in my book.
Good work Ocean Sands!
We'll be back.

I had my wedding here in April, and I have to say the whole experience from booking, organising, the day itself, the food, the bar and paying for the whole thing was perfect. The staff and managment were all unbelievably good to us. The day was made all the better due to the fact that we got lucky with the weather, and this made the views from the bar and the funcion room all the better. Every single guest raved about the food which was both delicious and generous. I had the presidential suite for the night and it was huge and really well decorated, I was in both the normal rooms and the apartments as well and they were teriffic.

My kids want to go there for our summer holidays this year and I have no hesitation in recomending the hotel for weddings or for a holiday.

Mark, Teresa and staff, thank you very much!!
