“Definitely go back.”
Reviewed 29 November 2012

Alanna and Dermot were very welcoming hosts and very pleasant company when they had time to chat. The room was beautiful, decorated to a high standard and extremely comfortable. We were given free rein to come and go as we pleased (with no complaints when we got in at 1am slightly inebriated). The breakfasts were great, they sorted us out until late afternoon - the sausages were fantastic. Always happy to help, our hosts were well-informed and eager that we should get the most out of our stay. One morning Alanna specifically put on a CD for us that she thought we would like - very thoughtful! Wish I'd asked for the name of it! Our only minor gripes were that the TV was a bit small in our massive room and I couldn't reach the shower head! Apart from that, we would definitely stay again and we plan to go back in the future. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night to attend a wedding in the hotel down the road. I agree 100% with the reviews below. Just to add our hosts were friendly, welcoming and amazingly attentive to detail. I mentioned my husband had a 5 a.m. start the next morning and they very kindly left out a generous breakfast tray for him at our bedroom door. I enjoyed my stay immensely even though it was short. There is one negative that is more to do with the time of year,.the room was really cold... at 3pm. when I arrived (understandable) at 12.30 am when we got back from the wedding and at 9.30 the next morning when I got up..very strange...maybe a plug in electric heater would be a good idea in the winter months. However I would still recommend and it must be really beautiful there in the summer time.

Thank you so much for your very kind and fair review following your stay with us. Our sincere apologies for the lack of heating in your room. This came about because each room is individually controlled and there was a fault in the controls for your room. Gladly this problem is now rectified and normal service has been resumed.

We would love to see you back at "Seasons Lodge" at some time in the future at which time we would like to treat you to one of the treatments at "Sunset Spa".

Best wishes

A spacious luxurious room with superb quality beds for a great nights sleep.Large bathroom offering the highest standard of fittings-the double sized walk-in power shower being a delight to use.
The personal welcome offered by Alanna and Dermot with local knowledge of all Enniscrone and surrounding areas added to the enjoyment of our overall experience.
Breakfast was delicious with a good varied choice. We highly recommend the home-made brown bread.
All in all a five star experience which we hope to repeat!

Room Tip: We stayed in "Spring".Alanna and Dermot informed us that all rooms were equally spacious a...

We stayed at this guest house as part of a surprise birthday present for my partner who hadn't been to Ireland since he was a child and we weren't disappointed.
We only stayed for 2 nights, however we were made to feel very welcome. Alana is so warm and welcoming and cooks a wonderful breakfast. If you want a home from home break this is the place to come. Thank you Dermot & Alana.

The Seasons Lodge is run by the very welcoming and wonderful host Alanna and Dermot, who in all honesty can not do enough for you to make your stay just simply perfect. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very spacious. The breakfast is fantastic. The setting is quite lovely, just off the beach which is beautiful even in the wind and rain! Cannot fault this place and cannot praise it and Alanna and Dermot enough!
Excellent , excellent , excellent !

Stayed here recently with my wife and 2 year old son. I chose the Seasons Lodge due to its unblemished record on trip advisor. I wasn't disappointed. Spacious rooms (bigger than most hotels), fine breakfast, comforts of home in the common areas and highlights being the company of our lovely hosts and the run of the kitchen to make a pot of tea when junior was having his afternoon nap. The lodge does not specialise in guests with young children, however Alanna and Dermot couldn't do enough for our young son.
A top spot.

My friends and I have just returned from Ireland where we spent 10 days playing golf, visiting the western coast, and making new friends. Our first and favorite place to stay was in Enniscrone at a wonderfull 5 star B&B called Seasons Lodge. We stayed 4 nights in 2 of Seasons Lodge's 4 large rooms that each were perfect for 2 people with 2 comfortable warm beds and a large bathroom with a great shower (powerful spray and plenty of hot water). The owners and hosts are Dermot and Alanna who together are what make Seasons Lodge truly special. The entire place is decorated beautifully with the wonderful art works of Alana and the delicous full Irish breakfasts are artfully prepared by Dermot. Everything about Seasons Lodge is about comfort, fun, and friendship. Be sure to take the time to chat with Dermot and Allana because they are truly special locals who are engaging and entertaining hosts. Each knows the community, the people, and the history. Their insight and stories are fantastic. The common room at night is a great place to play games, have an adult beverage (or 3) and laugh with Dermot. When I go back to Ireland I will definitely go back to stay with my new friends at Seasons Lodge. - Mark D.
