“What a view!”
Reviewed 8 July 2011

My husband and I ate in the restaurant whilst holidaying in the West of Ireland and were just delighted with the latest addition to Enniscrone.
The menu was just to die for, a really good choice, and the food was amazing, all local produce too. The service was second to none with fantastic staff, but the icing on the cake was the view, it isn't called Waterfront for nothing! We had a window seat where we watched a crowd of dolphins playing in the bay, followed by a picture postcard sunset, which was the perfect end to a perfect evening.

This was the most relaxing, beautiful place to stay. I wish I could be there now. Listening to the Atlantic Ocean while sleeping was amazing, I had the best nights sleep. Seeing the ocean and watching the sunset in between while enjoying a lovely dinner was so incredibly memorable. It happened to have been an amazing sunset.

My only regret is that we stayed there only 1 night. You must stay for at least two nights or more!

Stayed here for a weekend as my partner and I were attending a wedding in the town. Firstly are welcome on arrival was exceptional. Warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Martina even came up to the room to give us a show around, which was a lovely touch. The room and bathroom was perfect, spacious and exceptionally clean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing all cooked to order and table service which I just love. The staff at breakfast were so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for any occassion as it is literally a two min walk from the town and the beach is on the front door which was ideal for a walk after breakfast. A big thank you to Martina and her staff for the fantastic stay especially the lift up to the wedding venue each day. I cant wait to return and hope to see ye all very soon.

Room Tip: A view of the beach

Really nice hotel, next door to seaweed baths. Warm welcome, nice room with view of bay, good food, friendly atmosphere. Follow Martina's advice for a great stay.

This hotel was a fantastic find for us. The room was spacious, spotless and had an absolutely fantastic view of the beach. Martina was very welcoming and extremely helpful during our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant which is newly opened and it was great. The wine choices were also excellent. Do take advantage of the nearby seaweed baths - an experience not to be missed!

Room Tip: Request a room with a seaview - well worth the in.

The accommodation was booked by Vagabond Tours and was a perfect choice. The welcome from Martina was warm and genuine. Accommodation was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. We had dinner at the recently opened restaurant and it was of 5 star quality. I still think about that wonderful seafood bisque. Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer but we'd love to come again next time we come to Ireland. Also regret not availing of the legendary seaweed baths just a few doors up the street. The best place we stayed.

Room Tip: A sea view room is the best - stunning panorama!

We booked this accommodation and location in error, but rather than cancel we visited Enniscrone for the long weekend with no expectations. What a wonderful stay we had. The guest house was clean and spacious with great service and hospitality. The restaurant served great food with locally produced ingredients. I have dietary problems but Liam the chef 'omitted' the cream & butter but still managed to produce a tasty dish. They are opening a wine and tapas bar next week and I am looking forward to my return visit to sample their fare. We were very fortunate with the weather on our visit and we had such a relaxing stay looking at the waves while we sipped our wine and enjoyed our food. Our room looked out over a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean with its surf waves and mountain views - if only we could bottle it. Our thanks to Martina and staff for their friendly welcome and best of luck to Jennifer & Liam who have an obvious passion for what they do in the dining room. Continued success to all of them.

Room Tip: Make sure you look for a room with a sea view
